I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and distress following a recent visit to your restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for over seven years, long before the refurbishment, and have always appreciated the quality of the food and service—until now. During my most recent visit, I was seated close to the counter. I am currently adjusting to the recent loss of my hearing—70 % gone—which has been an emotionally challenging experience. While eating, I accidentally dropped some rice from my sushi onto my plate. I am still learning to manage my balance while eating, and this was an unfortunate but unintentional incident. What followed was deeply upsetting. Several staff members, including the manager Sofi (who confirmed her role when I later asked at the counter), began to ridicule me. They pulled faces and looked at me with clear disgust—behavior that was witnessed and confirmed by my partner and others in the restaurant. Their reaction was not subtle, and I felt humiliated; this continued for roughly fifteen minutes as I attempted to finish my meal. At that point, I immediately requested the bill. When I approached the counter, Sofi asked me, “What is your problem?”—a question that felt confrontational and dismissive, especially given the circumstances. I believe this response was due to me asking for the bill immediately after I looked at them for ten seconds with the last disgusted face they gave me. I responded that I would return another day to speak with the owner, as I have long supported this establishment and hoped for a more respectful resolution. Despite the distress caused, I still paid the bill in full. We left without finishing our meal, and I remained hungry afterward. This experience has left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome—something I never expected from a place I once valued and recommended to others. I will not be returning to this location, and I can no longer recommend it to family and friends. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that staff are reminded of the importance of treating all customers with dignity and compassion. (If you’re reading this anywhere online, it’s because I posted it everywhere—Google, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit—so no one else has to sit at that counter and become the day’s running joke.)

Bit of an expensive place, though it is renovated very nicely and new. The problem I have is with the sushi train system. So they do both sushi train and individual dishes, and when it comes to seating they have both sushi train type of revolver seating, and also sit down tables. They let the people who sit on sit down tables to get up and go take sushi train dishes from the revolvers, but there isn’t really a designated space for this to happen. You kind of just need to squish in between people who are sitting down at the sushi train bar stools and like reach over them to grab dishes which feels very awkward to me, and probably for the people who are sitting on the sushi bars too. If I could suggest a better approach for people who want sushi from the sushi train but is not seated there: request from wait staff the sushi you want (as there is a separate sushi menu on every table), and they can grab it from back of house. This wasn’t supposed to be a rant - it’s just difficult to visualise without it being lengthy. Otherwise this is a nice place to dine in, and we didn’t run into any problems with the service either. I think they have some management things to figure out, but they’re still a new restaurant so I think it should get better with time.

Very disappointed. A place that I wouldn't go back. Went with my dad and my little one tonight. I ordered sushi plates only tonight, but got very disappointed by the service, food and portion. The volcano rolls and seared Wagyu beef rolls were pretty much the same size as my daughter's baby rolls. The taste was terrible too as none of them were fresh, as if they've been on the track for hours! Service was like no service at all. There were like at least 6 staff on the floor, but only half of them were working properly. We chose to sit on a table as all seats were taken next to the sushi train. There were plates and soy sauce on the table, but no cups, wasabi or ginger. We literally had to call different waitresses multiple times for cups, wasabi, ginger, menu and finally order taking. Somehow, they all got taken care of by different ppl for whatever reason... The worst sushi place ever!

My favorite Sushi Train in the whole world.

Every week, my daughter and I have our favorite outing, which is going to Sushi Train for lunch on a specific day of the week. Two years ago, we came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and we’ve been coming back almost every week since then because it truly is our favorite in the whole world.

The service is incredible. Everyone who works there is super friendly, kind, and caring. Since I have a child, this makes the experience even more special. Having staff who are genuinely warm and attentive to our children makes a big difference.

The dishes are delicious and fresh. You can see the chefs working in the kitchen, and it’s clear they maintain a high standard of hygiene. Anytime you look, you always see everything very clean and organized. Their execution process is consistently spotless and well-coordinated.

I often find it hard to eat out at certain places, but here, I truly feel safe—especially since we’re talking about raw food. It’s important to know that everything is safe. There’s not been a single dish that I haven’t enjoyed, and I think it’s absolutely...
