Ribs & Burgers Rhodes — Restaurant in Sydney

The customer service here is appalling! Me and my partner came here for lunch yesterday.. Sunday 10th April, 1:45pm. We picked our table and got served the menus. We paid through the QR code.

First, we got served our sides - chips Then the woman who was on the shop floor gave us a burger Luckily, I asked "what burger is that? We didnt order this" And she took it back to the kitchen It was someone else's order. How unbelievable!

Then we were waited for extra 10 minutes for our mains to arrive - burgers We nearly finished our chips! When the burgers arrived, we didnt get our drinks that we ordered (thickshakes) There was only 1 person who was on the shop floor - waiting tables, serving customers to their tables, etc Why??

So me and partner tried to get the woman's attention..who was serving on the shop floor But she kept walking around and never attended to us We had to approach her and ask her "wheres our drinks?" And she only replied "its coming" It is soooo RUDE and disrespectful.

5 minutes later, we still havent got our drinks So we got frustrated and my partner went to the man working on the cash register and asked again.. "wheres our drinks? Why is it taking long? We nearly finished and can choke without our drinks"

Then my partner came back and sat down He immediately made our drinks and put it on our table and talked to us Being a complete smartarse about it and being disrespectful: "If you're choking, there's water behind you" "We are understaffed"

We already knew about this My partner already got water for us from behind and clearly he could see theres water on our table.

We will never come here again. Hire people that have better customer service...

4/5 stars because I've only been there once, might edit to 5/5 when I go again for the ribs, depending on how I like it. Went there before seeing a movie and I got the Wagyu big cheese and a milo thick shake. My friend got an old school cheese and some fries. Pricing for the burgers are pretty decent, ~$10+ for burgers are pretty par of the course for these types of burger joints, I personally think it's worth the price tag though. Ribs on the other hand might be a bit high at at least $17.50 for the cheapest one and up to $35 for the larger size. Ambience: Nice decor, fairly cosy, but not too dark since large windows/entrance. A bit loud when crowded. Service: Staff are friendly, very caring; asks how you're liking your meal. Food came out fairly fast. Food: My wagyu big cheese was fantastic, melt-in-your-mouth patty and tastes great. Got a bit oily near the end because of the fat content. The onions are chopped a tad bit too long since when you take a bite, you might pull out all the onions at once. The cheese was nice and fit the salty, savoury taste of the Wagyu patty. The thick shake was very nice, very thick - worthy of being called a thick shake; very large serving and seems like the metal container was chilled. The chips are a fairly regular affair, more like fries, crunchy, not too salty, decent addition to your meal. I can't comment on my friend's burger since I haven't eaten it.

Good experience, would definitely recommend but looking at the other negative reviews you might think there's a consistency problem. I'm not sure about that yet but maybe you should go check it out yourself and see how...

Hi, I was very upset about my recent visit to your restaurant. I follow a vegan diet and was excited to try your Beyond Burger at Rhodes Ribs and Burgers. But to my dismay the staff were uneducated about their products, made errors in my order and the staff members were not friendly.

I ordered a Beyond Burger and asked whether the Pink Sauce was dairy and egg free. The staff at the counter said that it was vegan. However, I later found out that it was not vegan.

Secondly, we made three separate orders for the same table, and all three orders which included four burgers were all incorrect. They consisted of patty made out of cow meat and had Pink Sauce in it. We had even taken several bites out of it until we realised.

We then took it to the kitchen and asked if this was a Beyond patty or a beef patty. The kitchen honestly informed us that it was a beef patty and we requested that they re-do our burger. However, the response from kitchen staff and the waiting staff sorely lacked in any form of apology and remorse. In fact, we were told to pay the extra money back afterward for choosing to purchase a Beyond patty instead of offering any compensation. Additionally, our burgers came even later upon correcting our order because they had accidentally added pink sauce to it. The staff members were unapologetic and rude to us despite their mistakes.

I am deeply disappointed and feel like I was tricked into false advertising. I hope that you can make the necessary adjustments but I will never...
