ACA was recommended to me by a friend who had some experience working with ACA. He mentioned how in depth and holistic the training was and how kind and passionate the teachers were. After studying I can see he was speaking the truth. At ACA, the teachers treat you as real people, caring passionately about your training as well as your life outside of the study. They won’t just train you to be good actors but good humans as well, which is just as crucial in the industry.

What drew me to choose ACA in the first place was the sense of community and camaraderie that it seemed to foster within its students. After three years of studying here, that feeling hasn’t dwindled. There is a constant energy of fun and excitement.

It really is an all-rounded course that allows you to become much more versatile and experienced as an actor and performer. I started my learning of the Craft there in 1987, throughout my time in the industry it always brought a smile to my face seeing other actors who had attended The Actors Centre show up in films ,commercials or TV. Often onset when asked where an actor had learned, the answer was 'The Actors Centre' of course. Dean had a dream, and he pursued it ,and it is fantastic to see what he has left the Australian creative landscape.I wish him and the Actors Centre and all those that attend, more of the same successes that they have...
