First time visiting and as soon as the food was brought out, it smelt like freezer. Not even hot enough and everything had an off freezer smell to it. If I was the owners, I would make huge adjustments because that place has such good potential - the location, the large space available, the huge menu range .
My recommendation would be to NOT serve frozen food as you can tell from a mile away no matter how you cook it! If you know food you know food! I was very disappointed to be honest. The waiter was not helpful when asking questions about the menu and she basically told me “read what’s on the menue”
honestly I don’t know if the owners are aware of these issues or just putting blind eye so I just wanted to leave some constructive feedback because if I had owned that restaurant, I would make a lot of changes and trust me customers would come back again and again! First change I would create is you don't need to have a huge menu range if all the food is going to be frozen! Less is more. Make good quality fresh food that's it. the space was very much dead - it was so quiet, there was no good energy vibe. Play some soft instrumental music in the background etc. - the binr needs to be lighten up! do NOT serve frozen food PLEASE... the portion sizes are very good and good value but more does not mean it's good. You can cut the portion size down but just make it fresh FOOd!!
Like I said - this is constructive feedback as I really would like to help the owners get this business...
Read moreLa Pizza is a decent casual dining restaurant in the heart of Bankstown, but also in the midst of a bunch of great competitors.
I would say there a better options in the vicinity, but La Pizza maintains a good quality of customer service; a tad sluggish, but nonetheless it is good.
Food wasn’t special, but it was good. Calamari was over-cooked, hot chips were soggy, and the other components were of a good standard. The tartare sauce was the standout however, bringing the dish together!
The Table we were assigned to was sticky and greasy, but the overall atmosphere and setting was simple yet contemporary. Parking can be quite a problem in the area as well.
I’m summation, it is deserving of a 4/5 star rating as the eatery is good, but not great in comparison with other...
