Disorganized Service and Poor Communication

I visited this coffee shop and was disappointed by the service. I was waiting to place my order when the staff member told me to wait for my turn. However, after waiting for around 5 minutes, she took an order from someone who arrived after me. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the this arrogant lady mentioned that one of her staff members hadn't shown up and she is working alone and exhausted. And told me the guy who came after she knows him and can’t refuse him to order. And she suggested me to go to another coffee shop.(Seriously,is that for real) seeing first time business staff is telling to the customer to go to another shop. And its too rare i give any business that negative review it comes when it really push to limit.

While I understand that staffing issues can happen. The staff member's suggestion to go to another shop came across as dismissive.

I hope the coffee shop will work on improving their staffing and customer service. Respected owner Can check that incident if you got cam it happened 04/07/2025...

We visited the café for breakfast and absolutely loved it! It’s the perfect spot in Coogee, beautifully located, just steps from the beach. We tried their signature dishes, including the crepes and the ham croissant, both were very delicious and have become my new breakfast favourites. And the coffee is simply outstanding. We went here for a coffee and pastry after a morning swim today. The pastries were exceptional although they only had two almond croissants left (at 8am). I had a chai latte which I would not recommend, it was basically just milk with cinnamon on top. My friends had the coffee which they said was pretty good.
