Lee's Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Sydney

Extremely disappointing. The food was terrible to say the least. It lacked flavour and texture. The sauce in the chow mein was a transparent thick gooey slurry, no use of soy or oyster sauces nor seasoning. Alot of thick pieces of onion, few slices of a green unidentified veg and slices of overcooked steamed chicken. Dud not look appealing or appertizing.The fried rice was not any better. It consisted of wet clumps of over cooked white rice which again lacked flavour, minimal use of vegetable, no sprinkling of carrot, corn or egg etc. No sauces to flavour. Definitely lacked taste. Frantic! The guy at the front was running around answering the phone. Menu log orders were coming in from online ordering. He was the waiter aswell and serving customers that walked in. Definitely needs more staff. So the customers that were eating in didn't get much service or attention. When we said we're in a bit of a hurry, not sure if he didn't understand or didn't care. We thought 1 hour to have a quick bite would be enough time. It took 15 minutes to take our order another 15 minutes to bring out 1 entree and 25 more minutes to get our main. I was a loyal customer of Lee’s chinese cuisine despite their numerous mistakes, messed up orders and terrible customer service. However, after tonight, I will never be ordering again. As you can see there is a cockroach leg in my chilli chicken. If this is what they send out and is mixed into their food, I don’t even want to know what the kitchen looks like. There is clearly no regard for food hygiene and safety. I will need to venture elsewhere for chinese, there are plenty of other better chinese places around five dock and I recommend you choose...
