When I arrived he was playing acoustic guitar behind the counter, greeted me with a fist bump and let me set up on one of his little kerbside tables outside with a cool drink for a video call. When I was leaving he brought me a complimentary pineapple zooper dooper ^_^

He also runs popular local street chess events and on a nice day he’ll be outside having a game with a local. Council has apparently promised to close the street for his big street chess tournament this year.
