LeWrap Merrylands — Restaurant in Sydney

Today I had a very terrible experience of customer service. This shop with experience of cross contamination is a nil. The gentleman didn’t clean the grill as a quick scrap and as I ordered a plant based wrap. When my number was called to collect I mentioned to the guy cooking if he had cleaned the grill accordingly, to leaving leftover previous meat or chicken not being scraped off properly. He said he tried to, I told him if I taste chicken in the wrap I will demand a refund. The lady with a scarf on, then come over to mention that there is no chicken inside but as I tried to mention I know, but the fact the grill had left over small pieces of still in the grill. She insisted the grill is for everyone’s food and continued to talk over me and say but we’re doing the best we can. So I assured then I am actually vegan so if I do taste chicken I will send it back and demand a refund. The guy cook responded with ‘okay we will give you your money back’. The scarfed woman walks to the back kitchen area with a smirk or a little chuckle, so I got angry and yelled as I heard her. I shoved the wrap given, across the counter and demanded a refund. I had to repeat myself 3 times to be heard and even understood, I asked her if she would have her chicken food cook on that grill if it wasn’t halal. Her attitude was a chuckle and walked away. After 5mins of this, the guys handed my money back. So result of this was no knowledge of cross contamination. I have been to Liverpool and Burwood Le wrap and the service was assured their understanding in cooking the food was cooking only on the side of the grill where no meat is cooked. And Liverpool also cleans their grill and let me know they’ve washed and scrubbed off any excess food left of the grill after every use. The service excellent but by far disappointment this experience was unsatisfactory. I have told the staff that I have heard of rumours of uncleanliness and hygiene. As I’ve heard from a while back person who was also a customer. But for me the only reason went to Le wrap in Merrylands was because it was my only vegan option I could get in...

I absolutely love Le wrap everytime I go shopping at Merrylands stockland I always rush to the food court and go to Le wrap and grab my favourite meal a chicken and avocado wrap in a combo it is literally the only meal I get and sometimes I get the salad bowls and I’m obsessed with the wraps they are delicious 🤤 and it tastes amazing everytime I have it. 🤩🤩 I wish I could have it all the time it’s literally to die for if you haven’t tried yet!! Get your butts to Le wrap right now and you won’t regret it...

Not only is their service disgusting but so are their wraps. Merrylands le wrap has to be the worst le wrap ever and I've tried them more than 5 times. Will never be going back here again. I had VERY undercooked chicken in my wrap and when I took it back to the counter to tell them, the lady kept saying "what do you mean?"
