Absolutely disgusted by the experience here. The new manager’s attitude was nothing short of vile. One of our friends was kicked out for simply and politely asking for a refund after being served a “chicken and mushroom” dish with no chicken. Instead of fixing the issue, the kitchen scraped together an old patty, slapped new cheese on it, and tried to pass it off as a replacement. It was insulting.
To make things worse, the previous manager—someone who had worked there for over 15 years and was clearly respected—offered to make things right and issue a refund. But this new manager, under the new ownership, refused. She escalated everything, and in an outrageous abuse of authority, kicked out our entire table, even though most of us had NOTHING to do with the complaint.
I’ve worked in hospitality. I have my RSA. I know the law. In NSW, you can only remove a patron if they’re intoxicated, violent, argumentative, or disorderly. Our friend has been sober for over ten years. He wasn’t loud, wasn’t aggressive, and wasn’t rude. There were multiple witnesses who can back this up. What the manager did was not only unprofessional—it was a blatant misuse of RSA powers and a potential breach of liquor licensing law.
She has absolutely no business working in a licensed venue. She should be forced to re-sit her RSA and have her license investigated, because clearly, she has no idea what she’s doing.
Meanwhile, my partner and I were denied a refund before our food even came out. When we questioned it, the new owner smugly told us he “doesn’t care about regulars” because “new patrons will come.” He refused to check the cameras, brushing it off with “I trust my staff.” It was pathetic.
And let’s not ignore the filthy state of the place—clear Work Health and Safety violations that need to be reported and inspected immediately. If they’re cutting corners in the kitchen like this, who knows what else they’re getting away with behind closed doors.
This place is a disgrace. Avoid it at all costs. The management is corrupt, the food is mishandled, and the staff either don’t care or aren’t allowed to. Never returning—and I’ll be warning everyone I know to...
Read moreWent on a Friday night, Had multiple entrees including calamari, bruschetta, buffalo wings and chips. All dishes served were tasty, hot and served in a timely manner. No tray to carry multiple plates, but thats ok. The atmosphere was good, they had a live singer who was really lovely to listen to. The bartender who initially served us was a young male, he was good at his job and seems somewhat knowledgeable re alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately though it really takes 1-2 poorly trained staff to change your mind about returning to a venue. There was a young female taking orders at the bar, she was dressed casually so I’m assuming in a team leader or incharge position however her customer service was really subpar. There was no acknowledgement as I stood waiting for her to call me over to place an order, as she spoke to other female staff in the kitchen hallway. Once she decided to walk over a bunch of young male patrons had walked past me and up to the counter which she decided to serve first… they ordered quite a few drinks so I was left standing for a while longer. When she finally served me, she just said “ok, tap” which I did however no eye contact, no greeting all while keeping her eyes fixated on this group of young males. Maybe after work get their numbers if you’re that keen however during work hours it’s inappropriate. She really soured the mood. When we went to order dessert, it was the same situation she said “can I help you” , I placed the order she said “tap” handed the buzzer whilst talking to other staff about non-work related issues and walked away. I just don’t understand, why people work in hospitality when they don’t like certain customers. With the amount of competitors in the market (restaurants, pubs and bars) available these days there is really no reason to return, as when you’re out and about you expect the whole experience to be a...

I recently visited a bar & dining tavern that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting—cozy yet lively, with warm lighting, tasteful decor, and a buzzing energy that made it perfect for both a casual night out and a special evening with friends.
The bar was well-stocked with a great selection of craft beers, signature cocktails, and fine spirits. The bartender was not only skilled but also friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on our preferences. Every drink was well-crafted and served with flair.
The dining experience was equally impressive. The menu featured a variety of well-thought-out dishes—from classic comfort foods to creative seasonal specials. I particularly enjoyed the grilled lamb chops and the truffle fries, both of which were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the presentation was top-notch.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff checked in regularly to ensure everything was to our liking, and they handled our special requests with ease and professionalism.
Live music in the background added to the ambiance without overpowering conversation, and overall, the tavern struck a perfect balance between upscale dining and laid-back bar culture.
Final Verdict: A fantastic spot to unwind, enjoy a quality meal, and sip on well-made drinks in a vibrant yet relaxed setting. I’ll definitely be returning—and bringing friends along next...
