If you are a Muslim with KIDS avoid this restaurant at all cost if you don’t want to be discriminated or your kids scolded by the restaurant owner and staff.
We went as a group of 11 with 5 kids and 6 adults. The issue started when one party arrived earlier at 2.30pm and asked to order and prepare the food as they had 2 kids with them that were hungry. The other party arrived with 3 more kids who were very interested in the Christmas decorations in the front of the restaurant. The kids were sitting around and looking at the decorations when one of the staff came and said that kids can’t touch the decorations which we explained to the kids and they were sitting around and admiring the decorations and that’s when the owner and other staff members starting scolding the kids from the back of the restaurant saying a lot of hurt full things which is when half of the party left with the kids and waited outside for the parents to finish eating let me add that the kids didn’t even eat yet.
If you really want good classic Fijian Indian food that just go to Krispy Grillz at Hoxtan Park or Desi Hut in Liverpool or The Fijian at Liverpool or the Fijian food truck!!! They are way cheaper. Also Tata’s is super expensive with a limited offering. Check out the pricing below and you can easier compare with other Fiji Indian...
Read moreWhy is this restaurant so expensive ? If they reduced their prices a lot more people would eat there , In your reply you say I have not been to your restaurant we moved to Rooty Hill 7 years ago and about 4 times we dined there , we stopped eating there because of the price and once I would have had to wait 45 minutes for a take away as you serve seated customers first and there was only one table with 4 diners . I thought I would try again some years later and I wanted Nan bread with my order but you told me as business was very quiet you do not turn the Nan oven on as it is to expensive to operate . Two weeks ago I decided to try you again and your on-line price for the meal I wanted was $22 and checking on your menu on your window it was $25 , I did not bother going in but talking to a gentleman outside your shop as he waited outside he complained to me about the prices and the fact he could not get Nanbread , you tried to sell him a cheese roti or some thing he did not want , he did comment to me it was his first time at your shop and it would be his last time need...
Read moreMy wife and l decided to have dinner here after we heard a few family members raving on about how delicious their goat curry was.
We ordered the goat curry and a chicken curry some rice, roti, cucumber salad, a pumkin curry with a side of yoghurt.
The portion were perfect and the food OMG was delicious it's not Indian Indian (nothing wrong with that either but there is a difference) it's Fijian/Indian and was so refreshing to taste something not watered down in spices but let full flavours flow.
The staff were very well mannered we were greeted with smiles and all how silly questions answered 😂.
Yes there are bone pieces in the goat and chicken that you may have to pull out or put to the side nothing new if you have eaten this type of cuisine but honestly l feel this is where some of them diffrent flavours are produced from.
All in all l give this a 10/10 and we will diffently be coming back and trying some of the other dishes on there menu. P.s l would have loved to have seen some kind of raw fish dish on the...
