Came here really excited to try their matcha after seeing all the fresh whisked matcha on their Instagram, which I have found hard to come by in the area. However, I was disappointed to see it come out of a squeeze bottle, especially since freshly whisked matcha was one of the main reasons we chose this spot. Maybe it’s just the strawberry matcha that’s pre-made, but still, it didn’t taste much like matcha at all, mostly just milk, however the strawberry purée was nice.
That said, the food was great. The pancakes were super fluffy and came with plenty of butter and maple syrup. The eggs, bacon, and hash brown were all crispy and cooked perfectly. The brekky burger was tasty too. The sauce had a nice kick, and the potato bun was soft and fresh. The pork patty was delicious. The egg inside was a little bland on its own, but the sauce helped pull everything together.
Tried the watermelon drink too—it was okay, though a bit too sour and strong for me. Not totally sure if it was freshly squeezed.
The caramel latte I ordered takeaway was quite nice. Not too bitter or sweet - just right.
All in all, the food definitely delivered, but I left a bit let down by the matcha situation.

Thank you so much for your reply! I really appreciate you taking the time. Regarding the matcha, when we visited, the QR code didn’t mention that it was a whip, and based on the QR code and Instagram images alone, it wasn’t very clear. However, I see now that you’ve updated the QR code to reflect that it’s a whip and not hand-whisked — thank you for making that clarification! It definitely makes it easier to tell the difference now. We’ll absolutely be back to try the hand-whisked matcha next time. Regarding the watermelon juice, we can see that it does state cold pressed. Thank you for...

This was my second visit to this café, and I was actually excited to bring my husband along and have him try the Chicken Sisig Pasta, which I had really enjoyed before. Unfortunately, the service this time completely let us down.
I placed my order at the counter and paid in cash — not via the QR code. However, I was still charged a card fee. I immediately suspected something was off, so I asked for the receipt, and sure enough, the extra charge was there. I went back to clarify and was met with no explanation or apology.
When I asked why I was charged a card fee despite paying cash, the staff just handed me a refund receipt, saying the refund had been sent to “my card” — which I never used in the first place! When I pointed this out, the staff member just said, “It’s only 15 cents,” and handed me the coin. That’s not the point.
It’s not about the 15 cents — it’s about the principle, the lack of transparency, and especially the poor customer service. No acknowledgment of the mistake, no apology, no ownership — just dismissiveness.
It’s really unfortunate because the food is good, but good food can’t make up for bad service. I will not be returning, and I will no longer recommend this café to others. A small amount may have been involved, but it speaks volumes about how they treat...

My husband and I visited TNB on a Tuesday, and it was such a great experience that we came back the very next day—and again on the weekend!
I ordered the smashed burger with fries and an iced koji latte, while my husband had the longanisa breaky burger and an iced matcha latte. I don’t usually like burgers because they’re often too big and messy, but this one was perfect—just the right size, simple yet incredibly delicious and juicy. And the fries? Mind-blowing! They have a unique sweet and savory flavor that I’ve never had before.
The next day, we tried the Lockdown Chicken Burger, and it was just as amazing. The chicken was crispy outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the sauce and soft potato bun. We also got the Yuzu Peach Iced Tea, which was fizzy, refreshing, and perfect for summer.
By the weekend, I was still curious about the pork belly scramble, so we came back again! This dish was next-level—cafe-style food with a Filipino twist. The pork belly with the vinegar dip was so flavorful, and the portion sizes were great. We also brought our dog, Poppy, and it was clear this place is super dog-friendly, with a water station outside and even puppuccinos!
TNB has officially become one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently amazing, and we can’t wait to come back and try...
