Well, good job, young ladies. A few days ago, I went to your shop, and the boy offered me the bathroom. I got no ideas. My ankles hurt as in the customers service line. Honestly, we are rude to say no for bathroom use. Good luck and not come back again. All the best, young ladies!!! You made my day

reply updates: don't make things funny is not busy that time at all, thanks for not being kind to me really appreciated what she has done maybe I don't spend enough we visit regularly even I not buy anything I ask for bathroom people also being kind to me all the time, just very disappointed!! I was in a very good mood yesterday, but she ruined my day. That's ok,she done what she done hurts my feelings, and nothing can be changed anymore. Can't you hurt me and give me a lollies and explain is not your fault. Ahha, all you need to do is sorry 🥲. Not always you hurt someone feelings they have to say it's ok. Is actually I felt really not ok, unless I wouldn't write to her and told her she not been kind to me as a customer service line and she even showed me very not happy face to me, I really never do anything. I got 1 latte from your shop as I don't feel hungry, don't mean I not value customer...I planned to invite my friends for coffee but the way she done. Sorry, I really, really, really wouldn't come back again!! Thanks for your reply, and stop giving an excuse to hurt someone. I have friends in that building, and I work in strata before. Don't try to make me like a fool. Thanks ❤️ all the best to the 1 star...

My girlfriend and I visited “Mê Bánh Mì” to order two pork rolls. The lady staff member was Vietnamese, so my girlfriend asked her in Vietnamese about the ingredients in the traditional roll. To our surprise, the staff responded in English with a rude and yelling tone. We were shocked and couldn’t understand why.

Later, the staff mentioned that we could choose either a soft drink or water for free. My girlfriend asked me which one I wanted, and I said I didn’t want anything. The staff then yelled at us again, saying, “It’s free!”

After waiting for around 10 minutes, my girlfriend went to pick up the rolls and didn’t mention anything about the water. So, I went to ask where I could get it. The staff responded, “I told you before you can get it by yourself in the fridge.” But the truth is, she never told us that! I was so disappointed and told her that if she kept speaking to me like that, I would report her. Only then did she change her attitude and apologize.

I’ve been living in Australia for 17 years and have never met a Vietnamese person like this. All the Vietnamese people I’ve met have been so nice and friendly. I understand that working in a busy environment can be stressful, but she works in customer service, and we did not deserve to be treated so rudely.

I will also tell my friends not to come here. I hope the owner checks the security camera and listens to her tone of voice!

💢I will never return to...

Nestled in the busy street of Ashfirld, Me Banh Mi offers a delightful dive into the world of Vietnamese sandwiches. The restaurant's menu showcases a variety of banh mi options, each delivering a satisfying balance of flavors and textures.

The classic banh mi features a crusty, lightly toasted baguette filled with a harmonious blend of savory meats, pickled vegetables, and fresh cilantro. The pork option stands out with its juicy, well-seasoned meat and tangy, crunchy pickles that elevate each bite. For those who prefer a vegetarian option, the tofu banh mi is equally impressive, with its marinated tofu and vibrant fresh ingredients.

The standout aspect of Me Banh Mi is their commitment to quality. Each sandwich is made to order, ensuring freshness and a perfect combination of flavors. The vibrant, yet not overpowering, sauces and spreads used complement the fillings beautifully.

The ambiance of the restaurant is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal. The service is friendly and efficient, contributing to an overall positive dining experience.

In summary, Me Banh Mi excels in delivering authentic and delicious banh mi sandwiches. It's a must-visit for anyone craving a tasty and well-crafted...

Went on opening day, was a bit all over the place, pho soup was only luke warm, which could be forgiven, as the staff are quite friendly. The owner lady in white, however wasn't very apologetic or helpful when I pointed out there was a piece of plastic in the banh mi I was eating. Just gave me a look and asked me if I found it in the banh mi, I was standing right next to her waiting for my takeaway as if I was making it up or something. Anyway she just blamed it on being opening day, and maybe the plastic packaging. Still, if it wasn't me eating it and my child was she would have choked. Apology was definitely expected and not acknowledged here. Onto the banh mi itself. It was average, for the price was a bit light in filling and very Fatty pieces. The pho was OK in sizing, and eat in was fine albeit it being lukewarm. Given there is a opening special for 20% off we also ordered one takeaway. But sadly for the takeaway version the rare beef became super cooked beef instead. The outdoor seating was nice, and if there wasn't so many mishaps probably would have visited again. But for now will be avoiding.

6/8/24 - 4 stars A newcomer in the Ashfield Viet scene. Though the shop front is pretty fresh and clean, it's the same basic and friendly service. Decor is actually quite nice but wouldn't bother me if it wasn't. Currently running a promotion where you get a free drink with any roll or bowl! Overall, seems like a pretty decent joint though the banh mi seems a little expensive ($11 for crispy pork). Rare beef pho Broth: SS, 9/10. Actually quite good. A pleasant surprise. Whilst it is a bit turbid, it is richly beefy and spiced. Trade off might be that it is a little oily. Beef: S, 8/10. Rare as advertised but thankfully soup was hot enough. Not very tender but decent. Sides: A, 7/10. Only beansprouts, lemon and chilli oil. Value: S, 8/10. $18 is pretty good and the combination version is $20. Lemongrass chicken bowl Flavour: S, 8/10. Chicken had decent herby and charred flavour but wasn't hot... perhaps cooked earlier in the day? Texture: A, 7/10. Hit and miss. Some parts tender and others a bit tough. Noodle salad: S, 8/10. Quite standard but tasted fresh at least. Value: S, 8/10. $16 is quite good

(edit: thank you for your explanation. I may of misunderstood however it still tasted really old and I saw it as I walked in so it bothered me. I am unsure of how a roll can be made in 5 seconds of me ordering it. Try to check the CCTV around 12.55 or 1pm. Thanks for explaining to me. ❤️❤️) I come to you guys a lot and it's usually really good but I came in and ordered a bun mi, noticing there was already one made sitting on the counter (for god knows how long ). I ordered my bun mi and went and sat down to wait when the lady's called out to me it's ready and handed me the one I saw when I walked in. It was freezing cold and tasted old. I feel like I got someone's old roll they didn't want / a mistake order. It tasted bad and unfresh compared to the 4 I had ordered in the past. Just a suggestion but I think it's better you guys make it fresh. It's not nice to have a chicken roll sitting on the counter for hours. The vegetables are soggy. It tastes old. I can't eat it and you all look too annoyed, dismissive and rushed to make me a new one.. a bit disappointed .. love you guys usually though
