UPDATE* 2 March 2023 My colleague booked this spot for our work team dinner which featured a set menu for 16 people. My expectations were low and I’m happy that the food and drinks well exceeded them this time. Not one dish was salty!
My favourite dishes of the night were the vegetable lasagna, prawn linguine and burrata with bread. The bottle of Syrah wine paired very well the menu.
Everyone enjoyed it and we left full. The staff were quite attentive and the service was quick too. I’m glad that my opinion has shifted and I definitely recommend it for a group lunch/dinner! 😊 I rate it 4.5/5
Note that if you order the set menu, you will be able to select 2 dishes from entrees, pastas and pizzas. The restaurant will make enough portions for the number of people. We had two vegans and we were happy they could cater for dietaries.
SUPERSEDED* 6 July 2022 “ salty “ is the word I would use to describe the entire meal. Because of this, I’m not sure whether my friend and I ordered the right dishes..
The gamberi pizza was pretty yummy, with a mild “chilli” sauce and chopped prawn. The pizza dough was simply delicious, featuring a lovely chewy interior and crunchy exterior.
Unfortunately, the lamb ragu was very salty and tasted very similar to Vegemite (or soy sauce). The pasta had a unique shape and was cooked al dente. Similarly, the salted caramel tart was also extremely salty. This was mainly due to the bottom of the tart base being covered in salt, in addition to the sprinkle of sea salt on top. It was very disappointing..
In terms of service, the staff were friendly but not very considerate. Despite there not being many customers, we were initially shown to a small table located right next to the bench where dishes are passed to the waiters. It is noted that tables are quite small - fitting 2 dishes max.
All in all, I rate this place a 3.5/5 and would consider coming back with a larger group to try other dishes.
(‼️Please also bear in mind that taste is quite a subjective matter so what may be “very salty” for me, may not...

We reserved a dinner for 2 at 8:30. Per the google webpage the closing time is 10pm. We ordered immediately, had a starter and two pastas. We had just received our dessert around 9:30 and at 9:35 one of the servers came with the EFTPOS machine and we paid the bill.
We called our car and told the server that we assumed the venue closes at 10pm so we are just waiting for the car to come around, it would take 15 minutes max. We very nicely asked if it would be okay we stayed and finished our dessert until the car arrived. Another EXTREMELY rude server (named Cecilia) came around immediately and said “does it take 15 minutes for your car to come? I can’t give you 15 minutes I can give you 10” and she was EXTREMELY condescending.
We immediately called her out for her rude behavior and asked what entailed her to speak to us this way. She kept being rude and kept saying “I don’t care love” and kept referring to us condescendingly as “love”.
I asked for the manager and she said “sorry love haha I am the manager.”
I immediately started taking a video (which I will be posting to social media to warn others of such horrible service) and she kept laughing and smirking at us. I told her to stop calling us love and she still kept being condescending and giggling.
I have photographic evidence of when our food arrived, when we paid the bill and how she behaved.
We immediately had to get out in the cold winter because of her disruptive behavior. She did not once apologise and nor did she back off. We even told her we would be lodging a complaint, she did not care. Said “I am not afraid”. LOL
Never in my life did I face such horrible service in what is supposed to be an nice restaurant. It’s 9:57pm right now and 2 women are having to stand outside in freezing cold because of the horrible treatment of their server.
I am extremely disappointed and I expect management to take strict actions against such...
