McDonald's Hornsby Westfield — Restaurant in Sydney

This is for the McDonalds on Pacific Highway (not the Westfield Hornsby Mcdonalds). The food is vile. I nearly vomited from the chips I bought at the one on Pacific Highway. I don't buy more than that because the food they sell is off and disgusting. I asked for fresh chips and had to wait, and then they gave me old chips that were floppy and different colours. I phoned to tell them and I spoke with someone who says they were the Manager "Olivia" and they tried to say it was me and I must have allegies, and then hung up when I said no it was the chips, and then refused to answer the phone and then when I finally got through she said she didn't like what I was saying, and she could only take my details, do an investigation and let me know if anything came from it. SO Stingy, would not even give $5 back. Appalling. DO NOT GO HERE. I also previously bought a fillet o fish a while ago and it was totally off, it stank like it had come out of a bin, and I took it back, and it was so funny they insisted on smelling it because they said they had to check in case I was trying to scam them somehow, and it was so off they jumped back when they smelt it. ABSOLUTELY APALLING customer service, just so damn rude, don't give them even one dollars they don't deserve it. Why are they selling off food? Where are their inspectors? THey need new fryers, and check how old the produce is that they are selling. And do some intensive courses on how not to be abusive to their customers....

Just picked up my order, and I don't mind waiting. However, my 6 nuggets were hard as rocks, and you could tell they had obviously been sitting for over thirty minutes. They were inedible. The frustrating thing is that you buy from that venue on a Thursday night, on your way home and stupidly hope that the staff will do the right thing and provide you with fresh food, not old, cold and hard. My meal was ready, placed in the takeaway bag, and put on the counter. One of the young female employees asked another young female employee to make the medium coke for my meal. But instead of preparing my drink, she decides to prepare 5 other drinks while my old and cold order sits on the counter, getting older and colder. Great thinking from these young people of the future. After 5 minutes of waiting for other customers' drinks to be prepared, my order is called, and I happily and hopefully take my order with much appreciation. Leaving the carpark, I can't wait to get home and eat, so I sample a nugget. As I chip my front tooth, I am filled with anger. I can't turn around now because all the other food I purchased now is at risk of going bad and cold. KFC seems to get their nuggets out fresh. I couldn't even bother ringing up to complain. I would give 0 stars if that...

Maccas at Westfield, Hornsby. On Saturday, 8 April 2023. Around early lunch time, I ordered an .85 ice cream cone. A young employee on the side was preparing the cones wrapping with the paper napkin, no gloves😱. When my ice cream was ready another employee screamed out my number, holding the ice cream right under her breadth with no mask, also talking with others on the side. This was totally bad food hygiene, apart from COVID. My impression of good food hygiene even before COVID was for handlers to wear masks. There is no point in the authorities promoting vaccinations for VOVID and other flu if the front line food handlers behave in this irresponsible manner. I walked out of that area and through my ice cream in the bin - what a waste as I did not want to create a commotion there. But my mind wouldn’t rest until I brought it to the notice of the management for the sake of other...
