The most shocking experience I have ever had. Definitely won't be going back. As a retail and hospitality worker, there was no customer service at all and when we walked in, we were told to wait even though there was no one else in the restaurant. He was just sitting on the couch, legs crossed and talking to his colleague. We asked for a vegetarian tofu pad thai which we ordered through UBER Eats and they instead gave us a CHICKEN Pad Thai. We called them multiple times to rectify this problem and ask what we can do but they didn't pick up. When we got to the store, which by the way defeats the purpose of ordering through UBER EATS, the guy was full of audacity and his tone was not acceptable. He continuously was yelling at us and telling us to calm down. He kept barking at us and saying this is a problem between us and UBER because we ordered through UBER. He claims that we should have called them directly and ordered over the phone. I clearly don't understand the logic in this. Why would you put your business on UBER if you expect customers to contact you directly. He then tells us that if we contact UBER EATS, they will give us a full refund and took the chicken Pad Thai from us which we explicitly told him, "we already touched and tasted it to test it was chicken." Yet, he continued to take it and let's just hope that it definitely goes in the bin and not to anyone else. Even after all this chaos, the guy still doesn't acknowledge that they are at fault and no apology was given. Will definitely not be going back, such a hostile environment and definitely not worth spending your money. Chicken was dry, poor customer service, can't take orders correctly, I don't think they are ready to manage a business properly. My appetite was gone for then night and thanks for ruining...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I ordered vegetarian pad Thai as takeaway via UberEats. When I received the order, it was the wrong order by MoneyBag, as I had received chicken pad Thai instead. We called MoneyBag numerous times, they never picked up. We ended up having to drive all the way to the restaurant. When we arrived, there were no customers there. The owners were sitting idly at a table chatting. We had to wait some time before approaching them. I informed them about the wrong order, showing my receipt. They immediately took the chicken pad Thai away from me, despite me mentioning that the chicken was touched and tasted to check if it was tofu. The owners of MoneyBag were unprofessional and shouting at us, they did not give us a refund, and insisted that we fix the issue with UberEats, despite MoneyBag making the wrong order. They asked us why we didn’t call MoneyBag directly, we showed them our call log with our missed calls to MoneyBag. The owners of MoneyBag never acknowledged or apologised for their mistake for the wrong order. I’m extremely disappointed because I used to like eating from MoneyBag, I will not be coming back. The food no longer tastes good to me, I would not even give 1 star...
Read moreOrder 2 fried rice + 1 padthai via uber eats. When the uber eats driver handed over, there was only 1 padthai in the delivery parcel. I called the restaurant and they said "they missed and forgot to deliver the rest of the items". They said I must call uber and ask them for my money back. I told the restaurant it is their fault that they did not handover 2 out of 3 items in the order placed. The uber driver is not at fault nor uber service. Uber did its part right. The restaurant did not handover 2 out of 3 items.
The restaurant offered to handover the 2 fried rice but told me that they can deliver it to me only after 70 minutes. I had to drive to the restaurant as i already waited 30 mins for uber delivery , 5 mins on phone with restaurant, time is 7.45 pm, kids are hungry and I cannot wait 70 more mins for the 2 fried rice that was missed to be prepared in the first place.
All this struggle and the food was exceptionally bland.
PS- The lady at the counter offered free chips in return for their poor service. Thank you for that. But the mistake made is too much to repair with a...
