Old English Fish N' Chips Naremburn — Restaurant in Sydney

As I would love always to support locals mainly small businesses, I went there last time with my friends. The shop was very busy, there were a long queue outside!! They don’t have a POS System, I have no idea why?! The cashier took your order on a piece of paper then give you a number. Would be better to adopt technology at this shop. When your order is ready, they start calling you loudly by number, very old fashion!!! I am not sure if the service is very slow because of that busy day or it is always like that! My friends liked the food, they said it was really yummi. I found it normal. We wait a lot for our food to be ready. I have asked the girl to pass us the salad first as we were literally starving however, she said salad is coming with the food!!! It is really the customers choice to choose if they want salad first or all together. For a fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 shop they're 🆗️ . Not spectacular , just satisfactory. They have { what I call } reasonable prices for their meals. Their serving of chips is too big though. Had leftover chips from my order to take with me to add to dinner for that night. IF while you're there , this place is handy to pick-up takeaway salad(s) 🥗 to add to your dinner { Or food , to contribute to a gathering 🎄🎊 } . Salads are reasonably priced and portioned. Grateful they let me eat inside { at a particular table } with my NDIS support worker who brought food from next door burger 🍔 joint. Missing rest of two stars 🌟 from this rating due to table i was dining at was { completely } unclean ~ had to use it for the power point 🔌to charge my phone 📲 and for the price of their drinks are too high. Maybe they could drop their prices of the drinks in the fridge by $1 - $1.50 & get a milkshake blender & offer milkshakes for $5 & added whipped cream with dark/white chocolate...

hello I usually buy fish and chips at this place on a regular basis even though I already know the employee who works there but today the manager of the place, who is the first time I have seen him at the site, had a deplorable attitude when I bought a portion of the previously mentioned dish and the girl at the cash register asked me very kindly if I wanted chicken salt on my fries to which I answered affirmative and when I checked my order in the cart I realized that they do not have salt so I went back to the place and the guy in charge asked me what was wrong and I told him that I made an order and they did not add the salt and he rudely put the salt on top of the fish in an excessive manner, which I let him know and I showed him my discontent for what happened and he offered to make me a new dish for me, that is not the solution, he should simply be nicer to...
