Oporto - Randwick — Restaurant in Sydney

I ordered a Bondi Bowl meal from the Randwick Oporto store through Menu Log on Saturday 13 at approx.10.30 am. The service was quick and arrived within 30 minutes however I didn’t get the bowl I ordered so I contacted the store directly. I spoke to one someone in the store and she didn’t understand english and I got cut off. I then rung back and got the Manager.

I was very polite but the Manager (Amana?), was very rude and defensive, she told me they didn’t have and kale and edemamme beans and a few other ingredients so she said she sent what they could rather than contacting me. I told her I would have changed it but she said “well it’s not a big deal, it’s not like she put an allerge in it”. She said if I wanted a refund I would have to go through the menu app, I said I would come up to the store then. She said well what are you going to do “stab me” .

What ever happened to customer service and being courteous to customers, doesn’t cost anything to the store for that. Unfortunately I won’t be back and will stick with Betty Burgers. 5 stars to Menu Log, 1/2 star to the Oporto for answering the phone.

PS The chips were also terrible, obviously been sitting...

Terrible place. Staff are horrible. Sooo rude. Refuse you service at 9:40 when close at 10 then laugh & smile at your face as if it’s funny. The guy at night does this. Thinks it’s funny or clever. Mate it’s totally Unaustralian. Truely. Be kind. Be fair. Be a human. I’ll just pop next door for KFC then champ. Never returning. You’ll be closed like the Kingsford franchise soon I’d imagine. So sad what this country has become. Kids with poor communication or none with huge attitudes. Nice 1. Clowns. Most of these 5 star reviews are fake btw. You can just tell by how there phrased. Just teach people the simplest of customer service But nope be rude be snappy. Throw attitude around. See ya. No more. Ppppaaattthhheeetttiiicc. I DONT CARE. I LOVE IT. I DONT CARE...

Ordered 5 crispy strip's at 19h02 at Oporto Randwick. At 19h13 I went to counter to ask Where my food is and it became very apparent that they had forgot my order as 1 minute later the women who took my initial order chucked 5 chicken strip's into the fryer. Straight after she calls out a completed order and turns out it was for the guy who came in 5 mins after me yet his Bondi meal was ready while my measly 5 chicken strip's had just begun to cook.

This is the 2nd time I have had a bad experience at Oporto Randwick. The first time was 3 months ago, but I decided to give them a 2nd chance- how wrong was I.

I will never ever step foot.into this...
