Yesterday I ordered on the app to get the deal when if you spend $30 you get a free burger I was having difficulty adding the free burger on the app so the I gave my phone to the employee to help me. He added the promo code and confirmed the order. When the order went through he neglected to tell me that the free burger wasn’t added, if he did I could have cancelled the order and retried, instead he proceeded to make the order without telling me the burger wasn’t added. When I received the order the first thing I did was check if I got the burger which I didn’t so I went up to the counter and asked why I didn’t get the burger, he said the coupon didn’t go through properly. I then asked why didn’t you tell me, he then tried to act like it was my fault and said I should have looked at the order but he was the one who confirmed it for me. Then I said can you just make the burger and give it to me, he said no and that I still had the coupon available and that I can use it next time. I then explained the whole reason I spent $30 was to get the free burger and that I would not have spent that much money if there wasn’t the free burger offer and that I’m not going to spend $30 again just to maybe, maybe not get a free burger. At this point I just asked for a refund of my $30 because I had not eaten any of it, as the first thing I did was check if the burger was there which it wasn’t. He refused and said if I want a refund I would have to contact Oporto. Incredibly frustrating situation where the employee lacked any kind of empathy they will NOT be getting another cent from me. Firstly I'd probably disregard the reviews from folk with Indian names as they work there or are friends of the owners...
I've given this place a few chances but when I ordered one of the $10 salads (Spicy Chicken Saladeira) that did it for me :/ Dammit!
It started ok but then I realised I'd already eaten all three tiny pieces of chicken breast and was left with a small amount of rice and a huge amount of lettuce! Anyway I took it back and spoke with the Indian bloke at the counter who said he was the manager and I explained - he said "that's how it is, that's our standard". He continued to stare blankly and silently at me for 10secs before I said "Just thought I'd leave some feedback from a customer about the food". He said "sure mate I'll look into it but that's our standard".
I hear Subway from the same stretch has gone broke, so maybe a bit better customer service and better food might help you guys and taking feedback on board is a start -...

Went into the store and was told the online app was not working but it did allow me to order the same from other stores. Wonder how the app can work for one store and not the other. The person behind the counter needs a lot more training in customer service, the indifference and the attitude shown has just lost them a customer who has been going there for over 10 years.
