What a shame of the young waitress who is on shift today! I was walking in Pastizzi 523 King str today, there was NO customer queueing other than me, the others were enjoying there meals, basically nothing to do around the time and the young lady was using her phone typing typing and so careless! She didn’t say hi nor asked what I want to order and I was standing there for 2-3 minutes and I can’t wait anymore, I called her “excuse me” 3 times until God told her that there was a guy waiting for your order! My wife and I are loyal customers of Pastizzi 109 King str and since you guys open here, we pass by everyday to enjoy the treat and this is the FIRST time ever I got treated this way. Was that because I was wearing my Hi-Vis vest of food delivery so she treated me this way??? It didn't stop there, when she processed the payment, she bangged the machine on the counter and continued focusing on her phone, like customer is burden and her chit chat on phone is the top priority. What is this kind of service? If she has urgent personal issue, she should ask her manager to stay in the back and sort it out, don't treat customer like that! P.s: I rated it at 2pm on July 30th, for some reason it didn't show...

We came here twice within 2 days to grab snacks. The guy working there, who we assume is the owner, is really friendly! We got the ricotta&feta, chicken&mushroom, bocconcini&eggplant and the ricotta&caramelised onion ones. All of them were very tasty. The pastry is crunchy and packed with a decent amount of filling. Especially the one with eggplant took me by surprise! I love eggplant but often it doesn't have much flavour in pastries and gets quite watery. Not here! He told us that the recipe came together during covid and is ever since one of their bestselling ones and I understand why! We are very eager to try their salmon&dill one but they were sold out for the weekend. Hence, we will be back a third time within a week 😁 Such a blessing they are so close...
