Piccolo Me Castle Hill — Restaurant in Sydney

Our first time here. We arrived at 2:00PM, but the service was still very slow. Food was served half an hour later, and one reason was that - there were 2 people in the kitchen, but 1 of them came out to chat and stayed with her friends who were having lunch.

The cashier had difficulty taking and underdtanding our orders. I had to repeat my orders a few times ( saying add grilled haloumi until he knew what we wanted). Then he came and delivered food to our table which was not what we ordered inspite of the table clearly showing our order number.

Then the food came, and as the utensils were delivered, the server simply put them flat on the table surface, when in fact I already had serviettes ready on the table. First were the knives, then she came back with the fork and did exactly the same thing. (Don't these people understand sanitation at all ? )

The food was not bad, but the bacon was too oily. I understand they are fried in oil, but you would normally let it sit in paper to absorb...
