Pulse Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

Located at 4/26-28 Belgrave Street, Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 A really great little cafe conveniently located directly across from St George Hospital 🏥 so nice to come to between appointments. I found the staff very helpful, welcoming and friendly. I don’t have to wait long for my order. I had my milkshake at the cafe so it would have been nice for it to be served in a glass instead of a takeaway cup 🥤. This is just one of my pet peeves though. I didn’t notice any toilet 🚻 facilities, I can only imagine the closest one is in the hospital or the nearby library. The menu is quite small but still has a pretty decent selection for a small cafe. I would definitely recommend for convenience sake and the great service. A Thumbs Up...

I came into the cafe pregnant and very hungry. Add to this I had to get a quick bite to eat and am also vegan. The servers very kindly accommodated my request for a vegan bagel and even found some plant based mayo to add to it. The bagel was not on the menu but they were lovely enough to make this for me. Proximity to the hospital gives this cafe a big tick, and that they are not selling Vittoria coffee is also a positive, but the Morgans Coffee they are serving did very little for me.

Having it as a mac, it tasted stale and bitter. I think this is one of the best cafes in Kogarah, but in terms of coffee, it could do a much better job.
