I’m sorry but I have to leave an honest review. I just had a cappuccino with Tiramisu at the cafe and didn’t like either of them. The coffee was bitter and Tiramisu was honestly the worst I ever tasted in Sydney, super plain, there was no taste at all! When I arrived I waited for some time while the staff were talking and had to call them to be noticed. I was alone in a cafe for some time and maybe that’s why they didn’t pay much attention to the service: 2 tables next to me still had dirty dishes on them from previous customers probably and that was cleaned up when I already finished my dessert. While the lady was cleaning the table next to me, I asked for tap water and she said she’ll get it but no such luck. I waited for about 10 min, they started talking to each other again and so I left. 이 카페는 저와 남편이 항상 좋아하던 곳입니다. 평소에는 테이크아웃만 했지만 오늘은 처음으로 매장에서 식사를 하기로 했습니다. 그러나 오늘의 경험은 매우 실망스러웠습니다. 커피 바 뒤에서 일하던 긴 곱슬머리 여성 직원의 매우 불친절한 서비스 때문입니다.
저희가 주문을 할 때, 남편이 스탬프를 받기 위해 멤버십 카드를 건넸습니다. 음식은 무난하게 잘 나왔고 자리에 앉아 맛있게 먹었습니다. 하지만 식사 후 카드를 스탬프 받기 위해 다시 카운터로 갔을 때, 그 직원은 저희에 대해 동료 직원에게 무례하고 불쾌한 말을 했고, 이는 명백히 스탬프 카드와 관련된 이야기였습니다. 그녀의 동료도 저를 쳐다보며, 저희를 이야기하고 있다는 것이 분명했습니다.
그래서 저는 그녀에게 직접 물었습니다. “지금 저에 대해 이야기하신 건가요?” 그녀의 태도는 정말 충격적이고 용납할 수 없는 것이었습니다. 어떤 식으로 교육을 받았는지는 모르겠지만, 이런 행동은 매우 비전문적입니다. 지금까지 받아본 서비스 중 최악이었습니다.
이 리뷰를 남기는 이유는 다른 고객들과 매장 소유주가 이 직원의 무례한 행동을 알았으면 하기 때문입니다. 이 직원은 기본적인 예의조차 없으며, 고객을 상대하는 일에 전혀 적합하지 않습니다. 앞으로도 이와 같은 서비스를 받는다면 저는 계속 리뷰를 남길 것이며, 이 카페를 절대 다른 사람에게 추천하지 않을 것입니다.

This café has always been one of our favorites. My husband and I usually order takeaway, but today we decided to dine in for the first time. Unfortunately, this experience was deeply disappointing due to the poor service from one of the staff members—the woman with long curly hair who was working behind the coffee counter.
While we were ordering, my husband handed her our loyalty card to get it stamped. We then sat down to enjoy our meal, which was otherwise pleasant. However, when we returned to the counter to have our card stamped after finishing our meal, the barista made an unprofessional and rude remark about us to her colleague, clearly referencing the stamp card situation. Her colleague then looked at me, making it obvious that they were talking about us.
I asked her directly, “Were you talking about me?” Her behavior was shocking and unacceptable. I’m not sure what kind of training she has received, but such actions are completely unprofessional. This is by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
I’m leaving this review to make both customers and the owner aware of the disrespectful behavior. This staff member clearly lacks the manners and attitude required to work in a customer-facing role. If I continue to receive such treatment, I will not hesitate to leave further feedback and I certainly will not recommend this place to anyone.
