Blaxland River Side park is a fantastic place for people of all ages who are looking for a fun-filled day out in the great outdoors. Situated on the banks of a picturesque river, this scenic spot offers plenty of opportunities for picnics, barbecues, and other outdoor activities.

One of the key features of this River Side park is its ample space. The area is large enough to accommodate a lot of people, making it a great place to bring your family and friends. There are plenty of tables, benches, and other seating options available, so you can relax and enjoy your time without worrying about finding a spot to sit.

For kids, Blaxland River Side is an absolute paradise. The area is equipped with swings, a zipline, and other fun stuff that will keep children entertained for hours on end. There's also plenty of space for them to run around and play, so they can burn off some energy while you relax.

One of the best things about Blaxland River Side is its stunning riverside view. The sunset is particularly beautiful, making it a great place to watch the day come to a close. Additionally, the river is large enough for yachts and ships to cruise along, offering a unique and enjoyable experience for visitors.

Overall, Blaxland River Side is a highly recommended spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out with family and friends. Those who live around here knows that Blaxland Riverside Park is a fantastic destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The adventure playground is incredible, with unique climbing structures, slides, swings, and water play areas that kids absolutely adore. There’s also plenty of open space for picnics, shaded seating areas, BBQ facilities, and scenic walking and cycling paths along the Parramatta River.

However, one area that could use significant improvement is the toilets. While they are designed to look modern and unique, the lack of proper ventilation is a major issue. The closed design traps odors, and the dampness makes the smell even worse. It’s something that definitely detracts from an otherwise wonderful experience.

That said, the park remains a great spot to spend the day with family or friends. If the toilet facilities were upgraded with better ventilation and more modern functionality, it would be close to perfect. Despite this drawback, the park’s other amenities make it well...

Blaxland Riverside Park is an incredible spot for families, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy nature by the Parramatta River. The playground here is massive—think giant slides, flying foxes, climbing structures, and even a water play area. Kids absolutely love it, and there’s plenty of space for them to run around.

The park also has scenic walking and cycling paths along the river, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll or a morning workout. There are shaded picnic areas, BBQ facilities, and plenty of open space for gatherings. The Armory Wharf Café is a great bonus, serving good coffee and food with beautiful water views.

A couple of things to keep in mind—weekends can get very busy, so parking fills up fast. Also, some parts of the playground have limited shade, so bring sunscreen.

Overall, this is one of Sydney’s best parks for families and outdoor fun. Highly recommend...

Perfect park for the whole family - & your dog ! Plenty of parking during the weekdays - not so great on the weekend. Huge grassed areas for picnics or ball games. If your dog is well behaved you can let them off for a run. Plenty of small hills for the smaller kids to climb. There is one of the spiral hills in this park that can be accessed by wheelchairs as well as those that like to ride, scooter or run up. The view from the top is expansive. On the way down if you choose to take a short cut through the tall grass - be aware it can be slippery when it dries out & cut fingers if you grab at the straws to slow yourself down. Aside from that the park is very child friendly with enough equipment to keep them happy all day. There is an unmarked trail on the north side of the hill down to the river, which the dogs love to run down. Care needed as loose dirt & pine needles can make it slippery too.
