My workplace recently purchased Roll'd catering. I admit that when I heard this was what was for lunch, I wasn't overly excited. However, I think that it is a decent option for staff lunch.
In terms of catering, Roll'd offers a range of Vietnamese food in small bites. We had mini bahn mi with tofu, crispy skinned pork, or beef. There were also vermicelli noodle cups, bau buns, and rice paper rolls. The range and type of food provided suited a large group of staff with different dietary needs and tastes. It was good to have a variety of small bites on offer, and it made for easy eating because you could just grab and go.
I wouldn't say that the food is the most flavourful or authentic, and because a larger quantity is made in advance, it can be a bit dry when eating at a later stage.
Service throughout was good and couldn't be faulted. Ordering was easy, and staff were very willing to cater to different dietary restrictions. They offered delivery, provided cutlery, and a range of sauces. It all came within the set work...

I have eaten at many Rolld stores and been very impressed with food and advice. Syd domestic airport though was AWFUL! (19/6/22)
I ordered to a rude male who appeared to be a manager or the franchisee. Ordered a pho even had onion removed.
When he called my order I asked for the fresh chilli and sauce that I had every other time from other stores (Not just Rolld but any Pho restaurant gives you chilli and sauce).
He said they had run out, I pointed to the medium size gastro pan FULL of chopped fresh chilli and said “it’s right there”. He said I had to pay for extras if I wanted it or sauce.
Then he turned his back and walked away.
I have enjoyed many Pho’s from Rolld but will keep walking past in the future at...
Read moreSydney Domestic Airport - Bought a Vegan - Chicken Lemon Grass n Chilly. Also a Vietnamese Ice coffee. The food had no flavour, very very serious concern. I love Viet food and this is the first time I had this experience. Although the coffee was good. The vegan chicken tasted like tumeric, no flavour of lemon grass or chilly. In airports we pay a lot of money for food and this is unacceptable. I fly every 3 weeks and most of the times I eat at the airports. I will not recommend this meal at all. The staffs also need training, as when I gave them the feedback about the chilly, they casually said to me "we dont add much chilly". I told them you should have asked me about the level of chilly i wanted to eat. Where did the tables go? No tables to eat at...
