If you ever walk through @worldsquare you’ve almost definitely passed the huge golden bull statue. And so, you’ve definitely passed by the banger of a restaurant and bar @satanginfinitysydney . With live music every Friday and weekend night and a wide spread of Thai seafood dishes, @satanginfinitysydney has the PERFECT vibes for your next night out with the mates 🥰
We got: ✨ Yum Kon P Talay - signature mixed marinated seafood salad (45$) packed with CLAMS, a RAW CRAB, PRAWNS, SQUID, SALMON mixed in their signature anchovy based sauce 🤤 The crab speaks for itself, CREAMY and SOFT! Easily serves 3, even 4 or more if you want to eat it with rice. You can opt to have all the seafood raw or have the prawns cooked. Be aware that this is more of a salad in the sense it’s mixed seafood and not vegetables haha. ✨ grilled pork jowl ($21)- this was DELICIOUSLY meaty, perfectly grilled in flavour and provided that warm ✨ whole fried tilapia with chilli and basil (25$)- Oooft this was a perfect way to round out the meal, deliciously SOFT and FLUFFY with the crispy hit!
Overall, I loved my visit to this Thai Laos restaurant - there were SO many dishes I’d never seen or tried before like that mixed seafood, the quality is great and honestly, such a good price! Definitely check them out on Friday nights, they have live music after 7pm!
Thank you so much to @satanginfinitysydney for hosting us so well and @snacksavvymedia for kindly organising!! 🥰

Read moregot there for a party on a sunday night. security was awful and unfriendly from the start.
Had a friend who brought a can of soda and we were told that we couldn't bring a drink in. We apologized as did not know and put away the drink. Moments later, the security guard came up and scolded us and asked who brought the drinks rudely. We apologize that we did not know it was not allowed. He scolded us and asked why we brought alcohol inside. We repeatedly told him that's it's a soda that has no alcohol. He got mad and even SCOLDED A GIRL THAT TRIED TO EXPLAIN IT. Then he mumbles something inaudible and scoffed off. A horrible experience for all of us. He definitely needs to fix his attitude
Food was mid. Ordered 5 different dishes, and only one was good. Got a fried noodle that was horrible, it tasted like it was only mixed with sweet soy sauce, and the texture was quite uncooked. Ordered kana moo grob, the pork belly was so little, and the vegetable was so bitter that we did not even finish it.
The only decent dish was the fried thinly sliced pork. the rest 2 dishes are okay, which I'd rate it 2 stars.
The atmosphere was not it, had a live band which plays unbearably loud music, which made chatting with friends difficult as we had to scream across the table.
What a terrible experience considering we spent a huge amount of money there ($300 ish). I'd suggest u to go other nearby incredible thai places, definitely won't be...
Read moreI was looking forward to tasting the pizza, however when it came out it was missing the pepperoni. Simple enough mistake to make, but how the staff chose to respond was appalling.
The waitress pretended that the pepperoni was under the cheese, but I wasn't having it and told her I would accept that. Sheepishly she wandered back to the kitchen and I followed the exchange with the chef which confirmed that he made the mistake...but it doesn't end there. 2 mins later the pizza was returned to my table with COLD hand shredded pepperoni tossed on top of the pizza. I took one look at the pizza and told the waitress "I don't think so, that pepperoni hasn't been cooked!". Once again she sheepishily walked off to the kitchen, and instead of returning with a fresh pizza as a consolation, she returned with the SAME pizza put through the oven TWICE! NOW BURNT! Presumambly to cook the peppironi on top without wasting the pizza.
Exhasted from a long trip I had no energy bother arguing with the staff and risk food being spat in, so I sat and ate the pizza.
At this point the evening out is ruined you might say, as all I can think about is how disgusting a display of hospitality I've just observed.
Honestly it was such a shame and a disappointment. A fine example of how to quickly ruin a night and therefore damage the reputation of a business in one go! To be fair the pizza and the food was meh, the service...
