Sette Café — Restaurant in Sydney

Frankly, in this day and age you would expect a dining establishment to be able to get all the things in your order together at once then let you know it's ready. You'd also expect them to be able to know your order from the ticket without having to ask you what was in the order. In 2020 you would also hope a chocolate milkshake could be made with cold or at least chilled milk. This place is actually chaos with unimaginative food, poor crowd control, no direction to when the food is ready, staff unable to hear you and unable to communicate clearly. Much of it could be solved with a proper ticketing system with an illuminated display with your order number on it - Hell the RTA can do it. To sum up, there are plenty of smaller places around the area, up Botany Road, even much closer. Support them, this place is a constant disappointment, overpriced and resting on laurels they...

I recently stopped by Sette café and was pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming it felt the moment I walked in. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and it genuinely felt like they cared about creating a relaxed, inviting space.

The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable — perfect for catching up with a friend, reading a book, or just enjoying some time to yourself. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth, and the food was fresh and made with care. I especially appreciated the small touches, like the thoughtful presentation and the staff’s genuine smiles.

It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. A real gem of a café — I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending...

I arrived at Sette at 11:55am (and it was not busy) with an appetite for their burger and chips (take away). However, I was informed that burger orders were temporarily unavailable due to the kitchen being too busy. The staff suggested that I return in 15-20 minutes. Initially, I felt confused by this response and expressed my disappointment, deciding to leave. As I was walking out, a person who appeared to be the owner crossed my path and inquired what did I want to order. In frustration, I responded that it didn't matter since the kitchen seemed incapable of handling orders.
