A small, cozy café with a minimalist design and a constant line of customers—mostly waiting to grab their sushi to go. The display of takeaway sushi looks incredibly appetizing, with generous portions that immediately catch the eye.

The menu felt like it was designed perfectly for my family. I always go for sashimi over rice, and their Chirashi Don was exactly what I wanted. My daughter had been asking for udon for days, and my husband, a ramen and pork lover, had plenty of choices too. The selection was impressive, covering everything from rolls and sushi to sashimi, rice bowls, and noodle soups, with both udon and ramen options available.

The Food • Chirashi Don – Delicate, melt-in-your-mouth fish, a juicy shrimp, a tender piece of squid, satisfyingly crunchy fish roe, and fresh vegetables. Everything was exceptionally fresh, and they also provide a spicy sauce on the side for those who like an extra kick. • Pork Ramen – A well-balanced bowl with everything it needed—corn, bamboo shoots, and plenty of rich, flavorful pork belly. A satisfying and comforting dish. • Tempura Shrimp Udon – A rare find, especially when done right. The udon broth was deep and flavorful, and the two tempura shrimp and two tempura green beans were served separately, perfectly crispy with a light, delicate batter. Finding good udon is already a challenge, but finding one with well-executed tempura is even rarer.

Final Thoughts

Sushi N Co delivers beautifully fresh sushi and well-balanced dishes, making it an excellent choice whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go. The queue is there for a reason, and based on what I tried, it’s absolutely...

Delicious meals with good quality ingredients! Even the green tea is yummy! Friendly staff and enjoyable Jazz music! -- review done 1 year ago

This is a revised review from the visit recently.....

Sushi n Co.... I am no longer the loyal customer as of today.

Countless times that I've recommended this restaurant to my friends/colleagues but I was greatly disappointed in the quality of food they provided today.

We ordered ' Agedashi Tofu, Karaage chicken, Vegetable tempura and Eel rice bowl for lunch. It was busy but food was served quickly. However....

The sauce of Agedashi tofu was waaaaaaay too salty that I could not even have another piece of tofu unlike what I remembered as slight sweet and delicate sauce.

The Karaage chicken was dry and tasted as if they had been slightly cooked in advance then reheated again.

Vegetable tempura...coating of the vegetables fell off when I picked up the vegetables, and the vegetables tasted as if they were steamed first then coated in batter and fried...

Eel rice bowel apparently was good but I had a slight taste and it does not taste like what I remembered when the restaurant first started...

I did not finish any of the dish and had stomach ache shortly after this...

I cannot really fault Sushi n Co for their cuisine. But as a local and loyal customer, I have to say they have a real problem with customer service, particularly if you are getting takeaway. I can particularly recall one biblical attempt to procure food from this place, where all in one I was left waiting on the phone for ten minutes only to be hung up on, then deciding it more viable to visit their premises. To make an order, be told that half of what I wanted they “couldn’t make”. Be given an inaccurate wait time of half an hour. To return, ask if my order was ready, be told no, asked to pay twice, and then finally told after it all “oh it was just sitting there the whole time sorry ahah” as if it was a comical situation. They mustn’t treat their staff very well, because they always seem to be incredibly rude and under ridiculous pressure. I understand that it has been a tough time for small businesses. But the sheer nonchalance after stuffing a customer around repeatedly is where the problem really lies for this business. Again, the food is great and it is what keeps me coming back to this business, but they have a serious human resources problem which I think they are paying little...

Surprisingly delightful! My partner and I were looking for a decently priced place to eat after a day at the blue mountains. We saw this place had good reviews and decided to swing by. We got there around 6pm on a Saturday, and whilst it was somewhat empty, noticed a lot of reserved tables. Even the one we sat on was reserved for 7:30. Barely 15 minutes of sitting down and we noticed the place fill up with people queueing! So do reserve a table if you're planning on visiting! The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered a rainbow roll, eel roll and a medium sized sashimi. Note that their rolls are larger than you would expect, and they tend to fluff it up a bit with lots of vegetables. Each roll is filled with avo, cabbage and carrots. This was enough for us and ran us about $58. It doesn't compare to the higher end Japanese you'd find in Sydney, but that would generally run you $70 per person. It is however much better than your standard take away sushi place that tastes like cardboard. Think of it as a mid tier, very good value, surprisingly flavourful quick eat. Ample parking can be found just a street behind, next to the Woolies/Coles area. Do pay them a visit.

We arrived at 5:45 PM without a reservation and were asked if we had one. Luckily, they managed to seat us, but we had to vacate by 6:30 PM for the next booking. Udon with Tempura King Prawn - Finally, a portion size that’s just right for Asians! A pleasant surprise was the spinach in the udon soup, a rare addition. However, the prawn tempura was disappointing—it lacked freshness and wasn’t as crispy as expected. Spicy Chirashi Don – The serving was enormous, even bigger than his face! The vegetables were incredibly raw, almost giving off a Japanese bibimbap vibe. By the time we left, the restaurant was packed, with more diners waiting for tables and takeaways. Do note that there are surcharges for card payments.

This place sells really decent Japanese food, especially considering that it is located in the Blue Mountains. I am from Sydney and there are countless Japanese restaurants and this place is comparable to them in terms of authenticity and quality. I ordered the nigiri plate (15 and 10 pieces) and the karage udon set. The first plate of nigiri was very delicious and I was very surprised with the quality and variety of fish (kingfish, snapper, tuna and salmon). The second nigiri plate was OK but not as good as the first one as I did not enjoy the rice. The kaarage was very crunchy and juicy. The udon was decent but it could use more toppings, rather than just spinach and tempura flakes.
