Tamon Sushi — Restaurant in Sydney

The sushi at this place is simply amazing. I work at a nearby school and go there for lunch at least twice a week. The sushi is always fresh, with top quality ingredients and is made to perfection. Many of my students go to Tamon after school and give equally rave reviews – it has literally come up as a topic of conversation in class. There are dozens of sushi options around the Chatswood area, but I keep coming back to Tamon again and again. My personal favourites are the spicy salmon/avocado roll, chicken katsu roll, and the salmon nigiri. As a staff member who works in Chatswood Chase i am extremely disappointed with my experience at Tamon today. I buy sushi from tamon regularly and today decided to buy the salmon box for $9.80. Upon sitting down to eat, I found that the lemon slice was old and discolored, and it had also cooked the salmon beneath it, suggesting it has been sitting there for longer than ideal.

The staff were not interested in helping or did not see the issue and did not refund or swap. Mistakes happen, but they did nothing to try to keep me as a returning customer.

Didn’t accept my friend’s payment, had bad overall service and was extremely rude. Also had very average sushi and is very overpriced, I had to pay 4 dollars 20 cents for one very mid shushi.
