I love any Viet restaurant for its fare and am glad to see high ratings on this. But my experience suggests there needs to be consistency. The first time I had Pho here (11:45am) I was blown away. Despite the $23 price tag, for the ingredients and quality, I felt it was utterly satisfying and was glad to have found the new place. The second time I had Pho here, a week or two later, I was sorely disappointed. Granted it was toward the end of lunchtime 2pm but the serve quality and size should be consistent. I can't remember what I had the third time. Must've been forgettable.
Today, I decided the roast chicken on green rice looked really good the last few times I visited & noticed the next table having, so I ordered it to takeaway. It was pre lunch (11:45am). And I had it the minute I got home, 7 mins away. Sadly, the chicken was a big let down. It was dry... very dry. The green rice was tasty and could've been a hit but it was partially dry. I couldn't finish the chicken.
Not sure Im going again. Disappointed 2 of four times. That's a 50% miss rate. What a pity, it's along my commute around Thursday lunchtime and could've...

Grilled duck salad - the crispy tender duck compliments the salad so well with the orange slices adding a hint of sweetness to the palette
Coconut coffee - tastes just like the ones I got on the side of street in Vietnam. The coconut was soo smooth and not overly sweet. Coffee itself was slightly bitter but mixed through with the coconut syrup it was just perfect.
Crab Noodle Soup (Bun Rieu) - I rarely see Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney serve this dish. Bun Rieu is a noodle soup served with shrimp paste in tomato broth topped with mince crab. It’s an unusual combination but the ingredients give the broth a good balance of sweet and salty flavours.
The amazing service was definitely a cherry on top, only downside is that they don’t have a lot of tables so during lunch there’s...

🦆 Grilled Duck Salad: Duck x oranges was a combination I didn’t know I needed 😶😋 The duck’s tender meat contrasts nicely with the crisp vegetables. The orange slices add a burst of citrusy sweetness, balancing the richness of the duck and adding a refreshing, tangy note to each bite.
🦀 Crab Meat Soup: One of my favourite Vietnamese dishes! The broth, made from simmered crab paste, tomatoes, and sometimes shrimp paste, has a savory, umami depth with a subtle sweetness.
🥥 Coconut Coffee: The coffee itself is slightly bitter, while the coconut milk adds a smooth, tropical sweetness.
🥩 Rare Beef Pho: Savoury, aromatic broth infused with spices, complemented by the tender, thinly sliced beef that gently cooks in...
