The momos — Restaurant in Sydney

My recent dining experience at this restaurant had its ups and downs. While the staff were friendly and approachable, there were a couple of issues that affected our overall enjoyment.

The timing of our food service was inconsistent, with our order arriving later than a table seated after us, despite ordering the same dishes. Additionally, when our food did arrive, it was warm not HOT.

There was some photoshoot going on, I guess everyone was busy with the stuff.

While we encountered some hiccups, I want to make it clear that our intention is not to disparage the Nepalese restaurant or cuisine. We understand that occasional mishaps can occur, and we believe this may have been an exception. Wish I could tell you what the food was like but we couldn't get served in an almost empty restaurant We sat down, with our 3 year old who was very hungry, picked up our menus as we saw them on a stand. After 10 mins of deciding we asked the male server if we ordered at the counter as we were ready and happy to. He said no I will be there in a minute He made a coffee delivered it outside had a lengthy chat with the female server SIgnaled he would be with us shortly then disappeared again, came back and started cleaning the coffee machine, still making no move on taking our order. The momos is a great reimagining of the very generic caged that was here for years previously. I came for dinner and had the puhri entree and the momo buff platter. The quality of the food was excellent- in particular the fried chili momos were sublime, but there wasn't anything that I didn't immensely enjoy .
