Not sure what all the hype is but definitely not deserving of a 4.6 star rating (at the time of this review).

Food was sub par cafe food but at an inflated price, which is probably due to the area.

Service was lacking in the follow through. They were happy to get you seated and take your order but left you high and dry with long wait times, no apologies, and miscommunication between the front of house and cooks.

It looked like they were understaffed, which makes the above understandable. But at the end of the day if you’re sacrificing quality to get more traffic and turn over it makes me not want to...

Had the pleasure of finding this treasure next to Atarman station. First things I noticed was the incredible friendliness of Dana, she showed genuine care and catered her recommendations to our exact preferences which ended up in a wonderful meal! They provide a good serving size and great food! Incredients are fresh and I Highly recommend this Cafe when passing by or even as a nice date. Also had the pleasure of meeting Daen, the owner who works hard and was also super friendly!

Tip: ask your chips to be extra crispy 👌👍👍 Thanks for the lovely meal and customer service! Until...

The Wilkes in Artarmon is a true local gem. From the moment you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere and warm, attentive staff make you feel right at home. The food is consistently excellent — dishes like the breakfast burger, granola, or hash benedict are both generous and beautifully presented. The coffee is top‐notch, too, making it perfect for a relaxed morning or brunch. Add in a handy location (just by Artarmon Station), great vibe and fair prices, and you’ve got a café worth returning to again and again. Highly...

The Wilkes is a cafe that is located in Wilkes Avenue, Artarmon. It's an ideal place to have a coffee and breakfast before catching the train at Artarmon Station. The cafe is a short walk from the station. Limited parking is available on Elizabeth Street and parking is also available in the council carpark in Cameron Avenue. I found the coffee and cakes quite good. There is seating inside the cafe as well as on the sidewalk. The service was quick and efficient which is important if you have to catch that train.
