The worse experience! Went for breakfast 4 of us and the service was terrible, the order was delivery wrong and in different times, the coffee was warm when I asked extra triple hot, the breakfast was delivery with out eggs can you believe it ? In the table was not servilletas and sugar not even when the waiter put cutlery he couldn’t bring servilletas, one of the coffee never came, the empanadas were reheated in microwave so they were soggy and on top of that the staff were so rude and the waiter (young boy) said to us they didn’t read minds because my coffee was with out sugar because at the counter I never was asked if I would like to have sugar in my coffee , how I would know as a customer that for coffee to sit down I nee to ask for sugar if is not offer at the moment of taken my order ? ? A normal thing is to find sugar at the tables it at least a station to find it, They staff and chef looks and behave like not clue about business and not interested to became better accepting their witness and the opportunity to improve. Waiters looks very young, not experience and bad actitud, the girl at the counter is really bad taking order, probably all mistakes comes from her orders taken wrong.
The place wasn’t even busy for Sunday 11 am Wondering if doesn’t have a polite manager who is able to deal with customer service and what is going on 🤔
I feel very disappointed that we just came for a good time and good experience and we rather had a...
Read moreAmazing food, friendliest staff in Sydney, and a super location in Manly. Location: it’s a small neighbourhood cafe with a funky vibe. Outdoor tables on two sides as well as indoor seating. From where we were sitting there were glimpses of the water on both sides and a gentle breeze to boot. Bliss! Service: from the friendly waitress who went and fetched me a panini, so that I knew what I was ordering and made some excellent menu suggestions; to Vini the owner who came out to greet us and have a little chat, this cafe has service down pat. Food: over three visits we have had an excellent Bacon and egg roll; Mango smoothie- flavour was superb; Chilli Crab omelette- it was delish; smoked salmon and scrambled eggs-perfectly executed; Prato Feito with scotch fillet- tasty black beans, perfect seasoned chips; and a 14 hr slow roasted brisket breakfast plate that they made into a sandwich at my request, on panini with portabello mushroom and aioli. That brisket sandwich alone was truly worth coming back. Oh but I haven’t gotten to the best part. The Coffee! Truly outstanding beans and barista combined to give me my #1 coffee of all time, bar none. They use beans from Salvador Coffee Roasters. I searched for something negative to say to balance out this review and the only thing I could come up with was the food took a bit of time. Really that’s it! Everything else has been consistently...
Read moreTo be fair 3.5 stars is what I really want to rate here. This place is overall pretty good, though we experienced a few hiccups. To start, I was disappointed to see that our latte's came in glasses that were too hot to hold and didn't look as inviting as the obvious choice of mugs. But I take this one on me for assuming they'd use mugs rather than instructing them explicitly. As for my dish, although I specifically said I want eggs done well on both sides, it took three times until they finally got it right. We inquired about the pasta special - we were told it contained chicken so we ordered it, with the intention of me helping my partner to finish it. However we were surprised to discover that this dish also contained ham, which made it impossible for me to eat. Not sure why they'd only mention the chicken but not the ham? Finally, the frappe that was advertised as wild berries with an added banana, actually contained way too much banana to the point you could barely taste the berries. On the positive side, we did enjoy our main dishes and the staff...
