Horrible customer service experience. Arrived before 2pm. Waitress ignored me , and ignored me, and ignored me until the barista was finally able to get her attention. This was despite the fact that she stood beside me for a full 5 minutes talking to a friend,. They had been speaking for so long that I thought she was a customer. Turns out there was only me in line. When she finally deign to take my order she informed me that the kitchen had closed @2pm. It was 2.04pm. Pointed out that I'd waited much longer than 4 minutes. Super disappointed as had made a point of eating out to support local cafes in the pandemic. Now not sure I should have bothered.

Thank you for responding and the tips but I don't think I was having just a bad day. Poor service is poor service regardless of excitement levels and time away.

Also, as regards to time, there is a board at the front of the store directing customer where to place take-away orders. There was no indication on the board at what time orders couldn't be taken. If you are serious about communicating with customers and ensuring a positive experience for them you may like to take the board away at 2 or put the time on the board. The board was still...

Industrial vibe with high ceilings, warm aesthetic timber furniture along with an impressive giant in house coffee roaster . Staff was friendly and welcoming. 🙂

Had my Brisket Sambo, it was focaccia sandwich with beef brisket, prickles, charred capsicum, rocket, tasty cheese and mustard seed aioli. I quite enjoyed it. The 12hr slow cooked beef brisket was nice and tender, flavour combo was on point. Wished it has more filling (the bread didn’t even sit on properly) and comes with “real”chips instead of giving a fancy name “crisps” for the store bought Kettle potato chips on the side. You don’t expect they serve bagged chips in a sit-down restaurant with wait staff. 🙄

Beware of the chiu chow chilli oil in Chicken and Black Rice. It was fiery hot! 🥵You only need a few drops otherwise it overpowers and totally detracts from the flavours of...

The service is 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ … the girls were absolutely nice and friendly, like super nice.

Food was minus zero unfortunately. The beef brisket sandwich was so bad that not only was bland in taste and lacks flavour but we actually got sick. But to be fair !! And the chips !! We thought we getting like hot chips not the smiths packet ones !! Anyway … I have been there before covid issue and the food was good, I am not sure what happened tho. I hope they look into it and fix the problem. I wouldn’t mind give it another try when the food gets better.

PS. If we didn’t get sick I would have rated the place 5 stars even the food...
