Wylde Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

Overpriced average quality bar food took 45 minutes to arrive. This Bar is within the View Hotel near the station. Its food service is shared with the kitchen for the restaurant - hence the very long delay. We went there on the basis of a photo showing lovely tapas style food, but without the actual menu, as it said it was a changing menu. When we showed up it was the most basic basic bar food. Our grilled fish was $36 for two small pieces of fish and some chips. The club sandwich was passable, nothing more. The bartender was so nice and apologetic, but we'd long finished our drinks before the food came close to arriving. Just a poor set up overall, and totally not serious about the food going...

Had some friends staying at the hotel for the weekend so met them at the hotel bar we were served by a really friendly barman from the uk who made the effort to make our experience as welcoming as possible.
