Yaz Cafe Chesterhill — Restaurant in Sydney

I personally have had 2 bad experiences on uber eats and a recent customer service issue in the cafe last weekend. Firstly, I had a visitor at my place for the weekend and we walked about 15 minutes on a hot morning for breakfast. We ordered coffees, juices and asked for water as a priority. Water is usually a given and my expectation is a table bottle however we had to ask for this twice which turned out to be just a glass and i had to let them know when i needed more water (annoying) Our coffees were lattes and they young girl making it had a huge attitude problem, I wasn't trying to make a fuss, I guess i should've known better than to get soy milk with a latte but we both agreed they were terrible burnt coffees (with too much froth, more then a cappuccino would) before even getting too my juice or our breakfasts that we paid for. The young girl continued to speak, stare and intimidate us from the counter. The constant bickering on a Sunday morning really got to my friend. We were then asked to leave and then a man who seem like he was in charge wasn't even going to give us our money. Fortunately I got my money back from another staff member but this was just a horrible experience. Despite the fact I've come here for years. This young girl needs to learn what is appropriate and what is not and other staff should not be defending her to bully us. Regardless it's not right to make people feel uncomfortable whilst pouring milk and staring from the coffee station. I'm still yet for an apology but that will be difficult since I won't ever be coming back. Gloria jeans in Chester square know how to make a decent coffee and not intimidate their customers.

Was looking for anything else when I came across this place. Staff greeted us as we walked up and the place looked clean inside. I didn't want anything big enough to ruin lunch a bit later so just got a ham and cheese croissant. I didn't want this but I'm glad I got it as it was excellent. Their coffee is good without being amazing. Staff are very friendly. Only issue is that it's too close to smokers and, despite not smelling it inside, it's still off-putting. Visited recently and was disappointed to receive a frozen packet cooked schnitzel. One of those mechanically recovered grey chicken mush inside. You guys used to make and crumb your own schnitzels. Please bring back the home made ones!
