Bohemian Cafe — Restaurant in Taree

Went, last night, to see and hear James Bennett playing at the Bohemian Cafe. It was the first time that we had been and we were not disappointed!! In James' playing and singing, in the quality of the meal and in the ambience. Amazing Mexican food. As for the size ... I can't remember ever having to leave some, and I can tuck it away!, But I had to last night, reluctantly. My wife had to do the same with her's too! Highly, highly recommended, we'll be back.

Now for a little criticism! Both my wife and I found sitting on hard wooden chairs for just over 4 hours a bit numbing. Cushions would have helped. And I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't get a coffee around 8.45 - 9 pm. Other than that, congratulations to all at The Bohemian Cafe for a great night.

PS We couldn't help but be highly impressed with the waitress who worked so hard, so fast for most of the night, if not all of it. And for her consideration in crouching low , beneath our line of sight, every time she crossed in front of...

I can't comment on the food although the reviews I've read sound pretty good, and that's the reason we chose to go there. We booked a table for two and arrived on time however when we got there there, there seemed to be a problem about where we should be seated. We were taken past a table for two which had a reserved sign on it (that we assumed might be for us, as it was the only reserved table in the place) but it seemed there was a problem about where we should sit. A short discussion took place between a couple of staff members and we heard one of them say " oh just stick them in the corner over there." My husband and I looked at each other in amazement and made the decision to go somewhere else for lunch. Poor choice of...

I've been here a few times recently after finding out they do bubble tea. The bubble tea is so delicious and addictive! but I don't want to go back there anymore because there's one particular staff member that always seems like I've inconvenienced her or she's been interrupted. At first i thought she was just having a bad day but shes been like that every time I've been there. There is another staff member (I actually think it's the owner) who is so lovely and makes an effort to chat while she makes coffees. They have lovely food and I definitely recommend the bubble tea, but the atmosphere is a bit uncomfortable. (Please...
