Stellina Ristorante — Restaurant in Traralgon

Several issues which made our night very disappointing. The room we were put in had the fireplace which smoked the whole room out where most of the people in the room were left with red eyes and not to mention everybody stunk of smoke when they left. Upon arrival we were not offered drinks at all, it was only until all our guests arrived 25 minutes late we eventually were. As we had a large table we were only allowed to have the pizza which we had no say in what sort. They were thin based and extremely unfilling and light. We got our first pizza one hour and fifteen minutes upon arrival and was only two regular sized pizzas coming out every 45 minutes. A table of 10-12 so everybody esentially got one slice and were left starving all night! We were served our last pizza at about 8:50 however we could have waited another extentsive period for another few pizzas but we figured we will get take away on the way home instead. There were no apologies for the delay between servings either. We were charged something in the $32 region per head however for the value of the pizza we were given, we believe it was well overpriced, they certainly got their profit out of us. I asked for a beer during the night when a few others ordered drinks, but i did not receive mine when everybody else did, i waited 30 minutes but then asked where it was for it to be eventually be given to me. Please note it was a Peroni stubbie, all they had to do was charge our table and pop the lid! When i was given the beer there was no apology about the wait either. The toilet is two single outhouses where you need to walk an unsheltered path in the dark to get to. This is not great for anybody on a cold rainy winters night! Especially girls where they do their hair and all that for the night.

The was well and truly the worst dining experience i have had, if i could give a 0 stars I would.

Excellent restaurant that my partner and I return to frequently, always great service and food. Atmosphere is always positive and warm, cozy space especially for winter. We reserved a table in the front room near the fire place, which was perfect as it was very cold. Mains and deserts were well cooked and presented nicely, will continue to return for the crumbed oysters and the wonderful service (thanks again for your patience Dylan, who's served us multiple times now). We arrived at 6:20 for our 6:30 booking, were promptly seen to and seated, and offered drinks multiple times despite our indecision and menus once seated. Once we finally ordered after taking a long time to decide, our food arrived quickly and staff were happy to accommodate our allergies and give recommendations. Stellina is an excellent restaurant to visit with friends or for a date night. Although the menu isn't large it has a lot to offer with new and exciting meals that don't require an acquired taste. Their drinks menu supports a wide range of assorted local drinks of all varieties.The outside area was well heated and protected from the cold breeze and the lighting and decor set a relaxed mood for the evening.

My wife and I were graced with the waiting services of Ava and Kar who showed genuine interest and care towards us with playful yet respectful chat. The two seem to have a real passion for others.
