KFC Ulladulla — Restaurant in Ulladulla

We haven't had KFC for at least 40 years never been big on takeaway. Restaurants are more our preference we calls into KFC Ulladulla went to the counter and placed an order as I was waiting I was observing where the food was prepared it was untidy and yes you can say they were busy with the drive-thru but there is untidy and untidiness the staff uniforms look like they could do with a good wash and one person a female who I think was the manager because all the younger people we're asking her questions just stood and looked me up and down did not say can I help you sir ,I asked the young girl serving me which obviously she was doing her best .l asked How long have those chips been sitting in that area under those lights and are they fresh she replied yes they are fresh and then I asked about the 6 pieces of chicken which came out of a heated draw I asked how long they have been sitting in there I did not get a reply. All of the sudden a order was ready( no numbers ) were called out ,there was only my self and a another guy standing near the counter this young guy yelled out (what was in the order), like he was working in a fish market selling fish ? the service was terrible which I'm not a custom to . We had this product at home it's supposed to be "fresh" the batter around the chicken was oilly and falling of the the pieces of chicken and also I ordered something called popcorn very oilly product the chips were Dry not fresh at all obviously I would not be returning ? ( DID SOMEONE SAY KFC 🥶 ) "NOT ME" ...

Most of the lights were out at 8:05 pm so I pulled in and checked closing time and it said 9pm closing so I proceeded to the drive through. I sat there for around a minute with no response so I thought they must be closed, before I drove if I thought I would just say hello into the speaker and what do you know I got a hello back! I had the feeling they were just hoping I would drive through without making an order as my response was hello? I asked if they were open and the lady said yes. So I made my order only to be told they only had fillets left and no chicken pieces. So I ordered a burger box for the family and headed home. When I got home the kids were super excited as kfc is not a meal they get often. We were disappointed with what we got to say the least. The fillets in the burgers were cold, not even lukewarm absolutely stone cold! Popcorn chicken stone cold and not even half full. The chips were absolutely revolting! We didn’t eat anything! We threw it all straight in the bin and cooked dinner ourselves! I feel like they owe us a compete refund. They probably didn’t want to cook any fresh food an hour before closing which is just a joke. If your open until a certain time, make sure you can provide your customers with the quality of food...

Entered the building and there was no clean tables, so we selected the cleanest of the dirty covid company tables.

A minute later, a staff member took lunch and sat at the table next to us (no way to correctly socially distance).

While we waited for our food, approx 7 cars made orders and were served before us.

There was at least 10 staff visible, zero gloves, zero masks, zero social distancing (i thought this was a requirement during the current pandemic for stores to comply with government regulations).

We decided to sit outside in the carpark, it was cleaner.

Just as we went to leave, a lady and her son came out with their large meal, and the lady slipped on the wet white paint in the carpark. Thankfully she was alright, however some.of the staff came out sniggering about the incident, instead of placing wet floor signs, and rectifying the workplace health and safety issues.

I left there feeling disappointed that there appears to be no proper management, or care for the patrons...
