Subway Restaurant — Restaurant in Victor Harbor

Was quite busy when I went, but the staff were lovely and working as fast as they could without looking stressed at all. Highly recommend the vege delite with avo. Free avocado and the cheapest option. Always go with a footlong. You think you'll just want 6 inches but you'll finish that and realise you want more every single time. Got the toastie this time, and didn't expect the garlic aioli. Signage didn't state that it would have the aioli but it does make sense if you think about it. Some say it might have been too much aioli, but I say you can never have too much aioli. The toastie was cold by the time my subway order itself was made, but really you can't have too high...

Food is usual subway fare, no problems there, however this store is perpetuallly grotty. I doubt if the tables are wiped more than once a day and the windows been cleaned EVER. The glass is totally filthy on both sides to the point you can't see out of some. Management obviously don't care at all. Easily the grubbiest chain outlet I have seen. If you think I am exaggerating, go take a look for yourself, only you will have to go inside because you won't be able to look through the windows. No excuses for this level of squalor.

Update: as of 2024 the restaurant is being refitted. Hopefully it will be a better...

I had an extremely disappointing experience. The staff member serving me displayed poor hygiene practices and was not attentive to my preferences.

The quality of the sandwich was also subpar. The bread seemed at least a day old and was falling apart. When I asked for the sandwich to be cut in half, the staff member refused, claiming I would be charged twice.

Overall, the service was some of the worst I've experienced at any Subway location. The staff’s attitude and the poor food quality made for a very negative visit. I hope management addresses these issues to improve the experience for...
