Venue: first time to dine in after renovation. Same Causal setting. Nice simple decoration. Small tables. No comfy seats. A bit dirty. Choatic kitchen. Also, selling flowers (displayed on the shelf at the entrance). --- 6/10 Service: very busy during dessert time. But, they were not busy this visit (7pm weekday). Get a menu at the entrance (hanging on the interior door frame). Order and pay at the front desk. Get tap water, serveitte, and utensil at the self-service table next to the front desk or next to the toilet. Choatic kitchen. One kitchen girl didn't listen to her colleagues at first and insisted on giving my order to another customer who had already told her that wasn't his order twice. Finally, she knew that. She was embarrassed because she knew that I was looking at her from my seat. Needed to wait for drink and food served together. The food tray was small for 2 drinks and 2 desserts. Why didn't she separate them into 2 trays? As she tried to squeeze all stuff into 1 small tray, she tilted the coffee cup and poured some coffee. --- 6/10 Food & drinks: normal presentation. Normal portion. Acceptable price, some items was slightly higher than other cafรฉs. Prefer Bingsu next visit - Cappuccino: beautiful coffee art. But served dirty. Taste ok. Portion was normal. - Croffle with Black Sesame Ice cream, $14.9: served with homemade almost meal crumbs and a dried orange slice. Enough sweet dressing. Croffle was soft. The orange slice was not so attractive. --- 7/10 Hojicha Pudding, $ 7: told no matcha flavor. But, it looked and tasted more like Matcha. Small portion of pudding. The Chantilly cream on the top was silky, airy, and sweet. Also, served with roasted Almond and Adzuki bean paste. The pudding was not so outstanding. --- 6/10 ----โ€------- 5/2021---3.5-4 stars. Busy place. Not enough menus for too many people. Beverage was served fast. Discovered self help service area myself. Waffles have to be waited a bit, but acceptable. Rice waffles were crispy at the edge, but chewy in the middle, texture and taste was unique. But the worst was insufficient maple syrup. It's mixed seeds. Normal portion of chocolate and coffee. Service: 6.3/10

Dessert @BrownSpoon_au for bingsu, Oreo matcha. I've never eaten bingsu, it didn't look hugely appealing despite being a person with a sweet tooth. However, I am now a convert. The serve is huge so I was glad to be sharing. The shaved ice is very very fine, looks like desiccated coconut, rather than the thicker version one finds for ice cendol in Asia for example. The splattering of Oreo biscuits provide crunch and a deep chocolate flavour, there's a nice syrup, and taking a spoon of all makes each bite cooling, refreshing and delicious. On the sweeter side but not sickeningly sweet. The ice holds but there is melting down the bottom which creates a kind of sauce. The matcha ice cream atop the ice mound is delicious. #KoreanFood #bingsu #matcha #oreo #shavedice #icecream #sweettooth #dessert #Foodie #perthfood #VictoriaPark

We went as a group of 4 and ordered a nice variety of sweets they had for their dessert menu, ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ (Their savoury menu is only available till 3pm) ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ The cakes we had were delicious, definitely reccomend giving them a go. They definitely aren't cheap, but they aren't expensive either, they're in an OK price range. ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‚ We got some of their ice cream and I loved it, their drinks were nice, but again a little pricey. Over this place is great Definitely worth a visit every now and then, not great if you're looking for a quick and cheap dessert spot But definitely good if you're looking for some nice cakes. I unfortunately didn't taste their savoury menu so I can't comment on that ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ And they are almost halal on all of their deserts and a lot of their savoury menu, just gloss over the tiramisu.

Writing a review again since the owner decided to state to me there were signs at the front saying โ€˜no outside drinks or foodโ€™, we went there around 9pm 7months ago. Hereโ€™s my side to things:

We ordered a drink for my partner, iโ€™m pretty sure was one of their frappe, it not only was watery but customer service was a definite 0/10. As i ordered i was holding a box of mimochi (donut place a few shops down) not only did the male staff see the box but prior to attending me (i was standing right infront of the cash register) he was chatting with his co-workers 2 females who also made eye contact with me well aware of my presence.

So in my defence, i may of missed the sign? but i can assure there was no sign as i was looking at the menu outside as well and again inside. Also the staff had an opportunity to tell me about food outside but we werenโ€™t even eating the food. We sat down for my partner to finish his drinks and the male staff ran to our table to say we have a policy of no food and drinks. understanding i simply got up and said sorry and walked out, the appalling thing about this was after my apologies he did not respond to me and went back to chat with...

We love the bingsu here, especially the matcha one.

At least once a week, we go have matcha bingsu. For the past few weeks, it has been amazing. It tastes so good, we live far away but we always go there and have bingsu.

Yesterday, 27th of June friday night, we ordered the same thing, but we noticed that the matcha powder seems a bit less than usual. We asked for extra red bean and we paid extra $2 but it didnt look that much too.

I dont know what it was, it didnt taste as goof as usual. It was 60% goof of the usual. It was quite disappointing because we come all the way for that, and it tastes very different. I cant really explain how different, i dont know if it was someone else who made the bignsu, or they changed the ingredients last night,

We are going to go there soon again, and if it still doesnt taste like before, sadly we won't come back and maybe we'll try different bingsu place in victoria park.

I hope the business will...
