We called in advance to book space for 9 pax. Arrived around 7 pm. Ordered tea & Momo for starters and chicken/mutton Thali for main course. It took almost an hour to get our starters!!
The restaurant was served by only one waitress and a cashier girl who sprinted intermittently to the restaurant floor to help. After an hour of taking our food orders, the sole waitress comes back to inform us that the kitchen has run out of chicken curry and had to change our order to either mutton or chicken chilli.. Not wanting to fight the pangs of hunger any longer, we asked them to bring mutton and chicken chilli or whateverâs thereâs that doesnât take them eons to put the food on the table. Painfully waited another 45-60 minutes and comes only 3 plates of cold rice with cold bland side dishes with watery but salty dal (lentil soup). And had to wait another 15-20 minutes for the next batch of the Thali with same bland cold food! So family of 9 had to eat our dinner in 3 different batches!

Read moreThis was our first time at momo planet but also potentially last. We went for dinner on a Tuesday night. We were seated straight away and we ordered 2 different styles of vegetable dumplings (soup and c momo) , chicken sausage and some snacks (chatpate).
Food arrived quickly and there was live music. Unfortunately, our experience turned sour once the food started coming. We found a strand of hair sticking out from soup vege momo, which we quickly returned. Luckily, we saw the hair before we even started eating any. We were given another serve of soup dumplings which was ok. The c momo was ok as well. However, one of us bit into another long strand of hair while eating second stick of chicken sausage. It was quite a disgusting experience. We left immediately, and alerted the staff at the counter while paying of what happened.
There was no apology from any service/counter staff at all throughout. We were quite disappointed with the whole experience considering how beautiful the restaurant is inside. Hope this is a learning experience for the restaurant. As for us, we have been truly put off eating dumplings anywhere outside...

ordered the goat sekuwa set, the goat thali, and the kids steamed momo - in our trio i am the only dumpling person !! - and the food came promptly.
when our dishes came, we knew we had ordered a platter, so when the butter chicken momo came (presumably ?? there were no pictures on the physical menu and so we werent sure of what this thali platter was going to look like ir consist of in terms of size) we ate it thinking it was part of our order. as paytime came, it hadnt shown up on our receipt - but i believe it was an incorrectly delivered dish ??
then when the goat sekuwa came, we wanted to ask about the rice mixture - some pieces looked like nuts. after asking a waiter, they confirmed that they were peanuts (we have an allergy and previously asked when ordering to make it nut free, confirmed by the waiter that our choices were alread nutfree). that spoiled our evening a little, but the rest of the food tasted delicious!!
the steamed kids chicken momo, the butter chicken momo (?), and the goat thali set were fabulous -...
