Bohjass Restaurant Wine Bar — Restaurant in Victoria

We used to love coming to this restaurant, but this time we were very disappointed due to the poor service. Arrived at 8pm and was still waiting for our entree at 9pm. We had no sooner finished our last mouth full of these, when the waitress clearing our plates asked if we would like our mains. We said we'd like to wait 10 or 15 minutes, and were told that we had no choice as the mains had been cooked and the kitchen was closing. We said we weren't very happy, but she just shrugged her shoulders - no apologies or anything. Have to wonder whats happened to this restaurant. Seems like they're now more interested in catering to their not very pleasant staff than rather than their paying customers. Definitely won't be recommending them to...

45 minutes after being seated our table (one of two tables of customers of the night) one from our party had to approach a very relaxed waitress at the bar for menus and to take our drink orders. 15 minutes later we ordered. 1.5 hours passed without being approached for further drink orders and at at 10pm our meals arrived. My rare steak was very well done. The potatoes were hard inside and very much under cooked. After waiting for 2.5 hours for my meal, and horrible service, I was not in the mood to inform the waitress of my complaints. My partner and I had our wedding at Bohjass on the weekend, and it was the best night of our lives! From the first day we met Johnny and Rosie we knew we made the right choice, they were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make the night as special as they could. The set up was spectacular, the food was amazing and the service was exceptional. We spent the whole night laughing and dancing with our family and friends and the night went by so very smoothly. We will most definitely be coming back to dine at Bohjass or even to pop in and say hello because Johnny and Rosie will be forever in...
