Great Gourmet Inn — Restaurant in Victoria

I love the Great Gourmet Inn. This has been my favourite restaurant in Wangaratta since I was a child. I grew up loving the honey chicken and fried rice. I'm now a vegetarian and I order the wok fried or Singapore noodles, done vegetarian, alongside the mixed vegetables with bean curd. Sadly the food has gone down hill.. Combination omelette was choped up like chicken food.. The West Lake duck had like 3 peices of duck 😪😪 Every time we come to wangaratta we go to the inn but sadly it has gone down hill over the last 12 months..even the fried rice containers have shrunk and the ingredients are non egsistant.. This restaurant is your quintessential country Chinese restaurant. I define the food as westernised Chinese. But don't think this is bad food. In fact 'westernised' just means you know exactly what your going to get! It took me back to when I was a kid growing up. Tasty and fun for a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
