KFC Wangaratta — Restaurant in Wangaratta

2 nights in a row this kfc has messed up my order. Wanted something quick and easy due to partner being in hospital giving birth. First night, ordered a zinger box, food was stale, cold, unsalted and borderline inedible as well as missing the boneless wicked wings. Second night, I ordered a cheese and bacon zinger box only to discover halfway home that I’d been given a plain original fillet despite watching the staff repeatedly return to the order to check what’s in a zinger box. Place was filthy on both occasions, staff had no personality whatsoever. Hands down the worst kfc I’ve ever been to. I can only compare it to corowa McDonald’s in terms of both incompetence and cleanliness and for anyone who’s been the corowa maccas, you’d know that is the WORST thing that could be said about your business. Given the fact it was very busy on both occasions, you would expect the food to be fresh and on point. The fact that people seem to be giving this place any of their money for this kind of tripe at what you could call a premium price highlights the degradation, stupidity and laziness of both the Wangaratta community and society in general when they could be supporting a decent local small business with more bang for your buck coupled with much better food and hygiene. We live out of town but are in Wangaratta twice a week. A few times a month we get a family meal to take home or at least every few weeks get a few snacks. 90% of the time we are missing items, many times I have had to go back and wait in line to get what I actually ordered, or it's only luke warm. I ordered the two piece box tonight and it has two very small drum sticks, the popcorn chicken was not very hot. The young kids that work there are very average, the odd one is ok. The only thing I got excited about was bringing in the hot and spicy chicken like other States and you then took it away after a very short period of time! Food is good I find they never put enough salt on their chips or they put too much on and you are like can I have chips with my salf. There was this one staff member who worked the drive through was always happy and very enthusiastic about their job I found when they worked my experience there was much better their happiness was very infectious. They also mess up my orders a lot but its ok I get a voucher in the mail and now I have changed to ordering something different. The place is always really clean and nice to eat in it has a nice lay out now with more room still really small toilets the music they play is good to and tv that they stream is good to the wifi as with all places like this is not that great the drive through is ok but could be laid out better just the car park is...
