Such a pretty historical cafe in this area. Scone and tea is a must have in this very English cafe. Scone are warm and serve with jam and cream, matching with local tea, just a perfect mini high tea. There indoor seating and plenty of tables, sofa to enjoy. There are also outdoor seating too with a huge chess to play. Natural mineral water from Soda pump is just nearby. Super comfy and romantic. Surrounded by hills, bathhouse, trees and wildlife. Staff are very friendly. Price is very average. Worth for a visit and enjoy. Plenty of parking nearby.

This is located within Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve. It opens all days. And the staff is so friendly. Food is tasty and also the price is very reasonable . It only cost me $11.50 for regular flat while and a feta and spinach roll. And no cash kept inside the cafe too. Don't forget to visit and rest here if you ever visit Hepburn Springs

Nice little cafe for quick grabs while on the mineral water spring trail. Our coffe, chai latte, cheese sandwich and brownie were all great.

We had Devonshire tea booked as part of a package with Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa (we had booked in May). Unfortunately, the Devonshire was disappointing on many levels. The cafe had run out of English Breakfast tea (which surprised us, considering we had booked), so we were forced to choose a different tea — black chai was the closest option. We were encouraged to find a table in the adjacent pavilion, which was sparsely furnished and the kitchen’s messy overflow storage was in full view. When the tea arrived, we were served a pot of water and tea bags which had not been put into the boiling water. As such, the tea didn’t steep properly. For traditional Devonshire tea, it’s reasonable to expect loose leaf tea, correctly steeped. One of us had regular scones and one had gluten free (which had also ordered in advance). The regular scones were quite good, but the gluten free scones had been heated in a microwave. After about 30 seconds, they were as hard as a rock. Gluten free baked goods - especially scones - should never be microwaved.

For $15 per head, this Devonshire tea was exceptionally under par. As part of a package deal with Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa, I hope the business partner pays careful attention to what’s happening in the...

We were duped into believing that this pavilion would have a nice experience - cream tea after a visit to the mineral bath house. Trays were left out in the pavilion for the birds to pick clean as we walked into redeem our order (placed online). After having the tea we left our trays and walked around the park. Passing back 15 minutes later to find our trays we’re still there and all of the remaining food picked clean by the birds. While the local wildlife is lucky to be feasting on such healthy snacks as butter rolls and powdered sugar….this is indicative of slow and inattentive service.

For the price paid, this place does not deliver and is equivalent to a stadium concession stand. Set your expectations for this level of experience and you may find it to be acceptable. I would avoid entirely and make...

We ordered a "Gourmet beef roll w. salad" and what came was a bog standard low grade supermarket sausage roll, actually, worse than a supermarket sausage roll, certainly containing no beef, and no meat either. I'd be seriously concerned that if I booked a wedding at the function room (which looked quite nice) and specified roast chicken to be on the menu, then they'd serve up chicken nuggets. C'mon guys, if you've run out of something, you've run out, tell the customer and apologise, don't just serve up cr*p without saying anything. [You may feel that comments like this don't matter, but I live locally near Daylesford, and...
