First, we were mislead by staff with the menu options (eg., first lady said that all pizzas are same size, even the kids' - not at all, didn't get any recommendations, were not assisted in making a choice). Second, they reused oil to make chips, the same oil that was apparently used to make nuggets or something like that, which added a bad flavour to the chips. Kids pizzas was a joke. My veggie pizza (had it without cheese) was awful - no exaggeration - worst I tried ever (even cheap pizzerias). The main layer was not fully baked. Eggplant on the pizza was all vinegar, there was so much of it that it even gave a vinegar taste to pizza. Olives were so-so. Like there was nothing in this pizza worth even a dollar (let alone $24 I paid for it). Too bad I was very hungry and didn't sort it out. To stay objective, kids' burger (the patty) was really good and they enjoyed it. Upd: what a response! 1) you did say it was the same size to my wife, then I asked you in surprise again, and you confirmed. 2) no vegan cheese on pizza is not a disaster, but UNDERCOOKED DOUGH is! 3) Too much vinegar in the food screams poor cooking skills or bad products. 4) I wrote in the review: I was hungry (and tired after 6 hours drive), I was in no mood waiting for more or disputing with you, which obviously now would have happened due to you being so customer-oriented as to hide your flaws behind saying I should have brought it up there. Well, in that case, your price range assumes decent customer service and it is a norm to always inquire with customers what they think of their meals and if they need anything else. 5) To avoid mixing flavours from different meals (nuggets smell) - clean your equipment. Or warn your guests, especially when they say they're vegans, of that possibility. (Only part of the chips had this flavour, so obviously it...
Read moreHaving travelled throughout Europe, we have visited many cafes and restaurants and advised many of where the best value for money is. We are now visiting and perusing venues throughout Victoria. We visited this venue recently and couldn't wait as the decor is inviting and well presented plus in vogue for today's value. Sadly that's where it ends - the price for a stack of 3 very small MICROWAVE pancakes was very questionable at ($22.00) which would have barely overlapped the palm of your hand. Scones with jam and cream - were fridge temperature and of course we know there is a microwave. Normally croissants are the easiest cos what could go wrong. Fridge cold and again - we know there is a microwave to at least melt cheese. The manager was present throughout our visit - her demeanour however, wasn't reflective of her surroundings. We were quite frustrated to build a report which is quite sad as the setting is very on trend. Our recommendation is to view and get a takeaway coffee....
Read moreVery overpriced for a very mediocre breakfast. Would not recommend. Soggy bread (toast), rubbery eggs, dry pancakes The outdoor area smelled like a dead animal.
And who puts ice cubes in a thick shake?? These guys apparently
Edited on 13th. Responding to your very unprofessional response, coming from a business manager myself, you really need to learn how to take feedback. I have read your reviews and can tell you should not be dealing with the public. It’s really hard to give feedback in person when we only saw 2 people (infants) working. And the only time someone came to our table was to plonk our food in front of us.
If you actually paid attention to your patrons you would actually know we didn’t eat all our food. We barely ate a quarter.
Your court yard did stink, hence why we sat under the veranda and not in the actual courtyard due to the overflowing bin out the front.
The only thing you got right was the apple juice, I will say that was ok. But seriously ice in a...
