Schnitz Shepparton — Restaurant in Victoria

It's very rare that I walk out of an eatery without having consumed their food, but the complete and utter lack of service at Schnitz tonight earned them that dubious honour.

We walked in tonight and were directed to a table, where we waited for 15 minutes before my husband got up and was informed "oh, we don't do table service". Which is all well and good, many places don't, particularly during a pandemic, but letting customers know before they sit down that they should order first... too much for Schnitz to handle, apparently.

Compounding the issue was the incredibly sticky table, uncomfortable chairs and extremely loud music. The food might be fantastic, but we will never know. Neither of us ever intend to spend a cent in any Schnitz "restaurant".

I am loathe to leave a bad review in what is a stressful situation for all of us, but the one star I was obliged to give Schnitz Shepparton was completely unearned. Under the circumstances, I would have preferred to give...

Really disgusted with our service and reception from the store, we had a delivery which arrived late due to driver error. I contacted the store and they told me to get the driver to return to the store so they could make it fresh. Order arrived incorrect, so went to the store, lady there wasn't interested in helping, just blamed the driver, told to either eat the food or throw it out. Explain we have person with allergies so they can't. Not helpful at all. Blamed us for attitude when we were just frustrated and hoped for a resolution. Not going back.

In reply to the owners post, i mentioned that the driver was at fault but the order was incorrect also, half of the food was Not what we ordered. I only wanted to chat with someone to discuss options. I realise mistakes happen, just would have been nice to speak with someone reasonable so we could find a resolution. Not too much to...

Took 5 attempts just for the server to get the order right for my partner . With attitude . I had to relay my order a good six or seven times and it was still wrong . Disgusting service. This place has gone down hill . The assistant store manager is just rude with an attitude and the crew need to be retrained as they can’t take a simple order . WONT BE BACK. But hey , the food is actually nice when it’s actually correct . I wish I could give it zero stars with how disgusting the service and attitude of caitlyn was . Maybe promote someone else ? Might be a good idea, oh on top of that the manager on told me that the server wasnt feeling well, youre a food establishment . IF SHES SICK...
