SomePlace Else — Restaurant in Victoria

Service was good and so was the vibe.

Biggest letdown is the burgers.

Paying 26$ + on the mountain should mean at least decent burgers. Even cloud 9 has really good pizza for the same price.

Instead you get non toasted buns, too much sauce, a squid burger which is actually just 4 pieces of salt and pepper squid (seriously who thought this was ok). Beef burgers with what feels like barely 100g of beef. Poutine with Box gravy and a tiny amount of cubed cheese (not curds, not a generous amount of mozzarella, literally just a few specks of tiny cheese). Milkshake which tastes like a teaspoon of flavour and then milk.

Only thing that was good was the fries.

Will not be coming back. A shame because the place had really good food...

After a hard day on the slopes @ Falls Creek there is no place else than SomePlace Else to have a 5* experience to satisfy your taste buds. A quality of food usually reserved for city dining, you will be pleasantly surprised by what's on offer in this hidden gem. Relax and enjoy the soothing atmosphere of soft music gently moving around a comfortably warm environment of soft lighting and wooden beams making your dinning conversation truly enjoyable. With absolutely outstanding customer service (thank you so much Sam) & a well priced menu I highly recommend, we had an absolutely beautiful experience we will remember...

Over the past eight days at Falls Creek we have ate at some excellent restaurants and experienced the bast Falls Creek had to offer, particularly from a culinary perspective. SomePlace Else was the pinnacle of dining at Falls Creek. The whole experience commanded this review.

The flavours and the creations prepared in this kitchen are to be revered and enjoyed. If there was ever a team so talented that they can create this place for a short ski season at Falls Creek, then surely there is a vacancy for them SomePlace in Melbourne as a permanent and enduring restaurant.
