It seems to be the hang out for the local older folks in Baccus Marsh and it might be all right if you only order a takeaway coffee. However, we didn’t have a good experience at this cafe on our way to Halls Gap. We waited more than 30min for our food while the place didn’t seem to be busy at all. The sweet potatoes were nearly burnt. We ordered the chicken and sweet potato salad, which hardly had any dressing on it. The service was really bad too. Staff didn’t seem to care much.

Pretty average TBH. Told myself I’d never go there and I won’t go back. Service is fine. However for $29 I’d expect far more from the veg big brekky than what you see pictured. Menu was cutting edge- in 1998. If in Bacchus Marsh, try breakfast anywhere else, unless you can’t get a table. In that case, get some bakery goods and a take away coffee and go for a stroll.

Went to Coffee Club for a quick lunch with my son. He ordered the chicken nuggets and fries, and he enjoyed the chicken (I tried it too, and it was good), but the fries were soft and not fresh. I opted for the avocado toast, which was quite modest in avocado portion but fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly, and the service was quick.

Only been here a few times as there is always some kerfuffle - like sitting at a table ordering a coffee to have while I finished a report, only for it to arrive in a paper cup with lid. Some inexplicable reason if I recall why it couldn't be in a cup. Stopped this morning for some chips and 2 drinks but they couldn't find the tea selection with the waitress insisting they only had chai or bottled ice tea in the fridge. Later found it in the online menu. Chips were so-so. I received the weirdest chai which was a chai teabag in a pot filled with hot milk. Zero flavour. My other half's request for water, re-requested from the table, never arrived. They weren't overly busy when we were there and a lot of uncleared tables outside were rapidly attracting birds.

The staff serving were pleasant enough but don't appear to have the experience or knowledge necessary. Management needs to seriously...

Terrible food!! I ordered the big breakfast, which almost cost $24. Top cafes in Melbourne don’t even charge that price, so I was expecting an excellent big breakfast. Instead, I received 2 pieces of dry toast, very decent portion of slimey (non-edible) bacon, 2 skinny sausages, cold baked beans. Only decent thing on the plate was my poached eggs. On top of that, my wife had a cheeseburger and on the menu it mentioned it had no tomato but had tomato sauce. HOWEVER, her cheeseburger had a tomato included, and no tomato sauce at all. My wife doesn’t eat tomato’s - period! So she very annoyed about this. I also tried eating the burger and it was just so dry and we also left it half uneaten. Not happy at all!! Only reason why we chose this place, was due to the main cafes being booked.. had I known, I wouldn’t have just driven home and not entered the coffee...

Came here for breakfast with my 1 year old daughter and Husband. Waiting 1hr for our food just to be told it hasn't been started yet. Customer of 3 came in 20 minutes after us and got their full meals. After we asked again, the order still had not gone through to kitchen. By this stage our 1 year old daughter was clear she was upset and sick of waiting. As we had tried our hardest to keep her entertained and settled even walked laps of the plaza. We asked for a refund to be told they can not give us a refund even tho our order was still not started and would be an additional 15minute wait.

Absolute disgusted of the situation would not...
