Dear potential paying customers, You don’t need to read it all, just take a look at the photo or video. There is no angle I could make this look better than what it really looked/tasted like.

Waited for 10 minutes for this pie. They clearly have forgotten about my order. The hot chocolate was cold.

This is the worst pie I have ever had in my life or the worst food that I have ever paid money for. The pastry is stale and rock solid. I felt sick after eating it. I threw it into the bin and made a loud noise when it hit the side of the bin.

The inside of it it’s completely dried out and almost empty. It’s probably 10 days old, defrost and re freeze it through the freezer.

This is a veg korma pie just in case you want to know what it is.

This business who sold something like this should be ashamed of yourself. Places like this can continue their business because it’s the only quick place for a bite.

Dear all, you might be hungry and wanted a bite after the walk around the lake, but please don’t waste your money here. You could have donated it, make a wish with it. But please don’t spend your money in this place. I really don’t want you to be sick during your holiday. Don’t even try a bite if they give it to you for free.

First time at the lake, always keen to patron the local business. Cute place, and that's about it. I love nothing more than getting lectures from baristas on what happens to my milk if I requestsn'extra hot', as if that's the first time ever I've wanted this. Kinda like the chef coming out of the kitchen to lecture diners who dare to ask for their steaks well done.

Didn't matter anyway, they both came out luke warm, and the food took another 20mins with burnt quiche and ok toastie, watching the young staff busy chatting about what's on for the weekend, whilst the toastie gets cold, and the coffees that were made 20mins earlier gets even colder.

Ask for coffees to be microwaved coz by now they're stone cold. No microwave but happy to add hot water... sure that works !

Next time BYO your own food and coffees in a traveller mug, guaranteed as hot...

Went to the lake for a walk with our grandson and it was a little cold so grabbed a coffee. While there I asked to buy a slice of bread. They asked what for? So I said to feed the ducks. Ahh we have some duck seed for that. They gave me a couple of bags without wanting any money for it. Certainly something rare these days. So I bought a pie too. The food and coffee were all very nice and the homemade cakes looked good too! But the service is what this review is all about. Regardless of the duck seed, they were very happy and all had a good chat. The other thing I thought was good was they sold dog treats and doggie ice cream. Thank you for allowing me to create a great memory...
